From the looks of the trailer, the little sister has lost her "father" and is questioning the stories of Rapture that she probably can barely remember. I see a game about finding closure and moving on, hence the butterfly in the closing moments...
Yeah announcement trailers are pretty lame, usually. Remember Gears 2, with the chainsaw fight on red background, that pretty much told you NOTHING about the game?
