I actually own two copies of this game on 360... I initially bought it blind and was absolutely blown away by it, so I purchased another copy just in case it breaks. I like it more than the WotS games. The graphics do take a hit, but the resources went to smooth game play, good combat mechanics, and weapon variety. It's a game I played over a decade ago, caused me to buy the oher titles, and here I am still searching up videos on youtube all these years later... That's how good this game is.
I wasn't able to secure a copy of that game, but I've played the sequel Way of the Samurai 4 and it is easily one of my favorite games of all times, so I definitely understand what you're saying here
