This would be an 'advanced primer' for those who are new to chemical tankers and quite informative for cadets in general. Everything has been well 'documented' verbally as the tour has covered various regions of the vessel. Japanese built ships have their 'trade marks' and the most visible one is the absence of the 'integrated bridge system' which South Korean yards offer for all their buildings. There are also those bare steel bulkheads in the alleyways and the decks inside the accommodation are painted ones unlike the laminated bulkheads and the linoleum covered decks of the Korean built vessels. I can about imagine the level of tank cleaning and tank preparation required after the discharge of hazardous chemicals and to accept palm oil as the next cargo. As always, your narrations, explanations and depictions have quality that puts your videos in the forefront and surpasses many of the other 'ship tours' seen in TH-cam. Looking forward to more uploads from you.

Haha so right about the Japanese vessel trademarks! Ive worked on Korean builds with IBS as you rightly mentioned, very sophisticated equipment on most of them.
Tank cleaning on these ships can be pretty taxing, ironically this was my second last vessel. These videos are heavily back dated, the new ship series is in the edit stage atm, trying a different style of creative work in the new series, hoping you enjoy it when it releases. Appreciate your support, next life at sea vide shall be within the next month!
