Wouldn't the world be a better place if we were all helpful to each other like Tom is? What a guy coming over and lending a hand. I can wait for summer and see the finished car!! That car is soooo different from anything on the road today. A quick trip to the store will take all afternoon I'm sure with well meaning ppl just loving the old girl and flooding you with questions. I'd follow your across the city just to watch the car drive. Frankers looks fantastic and I'm glad she loves her new toy LOL. Top notch video like usual Scott and friends. Keep them coming!!

Growing up my Mom had a blue 1960 Fury convertible . I think it was about 1970 when Dad sold it. Other than dime size rust holes on the bottom of the front fenders it was perfect . It sold for $350.00 with a new white top. It was replaced with a yellow 1969 Fury convertible.
Mom thought it was a tin can compared to her 1960.

43 minutes...any other channel would have had me concerned. But, not Cold War Motors. The self-effacing humor, body and paint skills of Scott, the faithful companionship of Francine, and the humorous "help" of the fellow agents makes this channel a must watch. Unless you're a loser, like the 5 people that gave this a thumbs down. Don't be a loser - watch (& support, if you can) Cold War Motors.

Unsettling, yet strangely pleasing. I start out watching with my finger pensively on the fast forward, overcome by the initial stinging pain of the brain chiggers boring into my brain pan. Are these guys really putting together this beast that quadrupled down on watermelon slicers when the competition was moving to jet and rocket engine facades? Then the chiggers hit home and the rush of endorphins leaves me wanting- nay, needing, more as the video wraps up. Good on you and the agents. Always enjoy the shared madness. Never saw Franker's new toy you were talking about at the start of the video. Don't tell me you were referring to that stupid stick.

I remember when bleeding brakes was a group project, but having been a back alley mechanic for a long time while working alone, I found that gravity and time is all that is required to bleed brakes with one person. All one need do is start with all wheels having functional bleeder valves. Next, start from the wheel furthest from the master cylinder, fill up the reservoir and that bleeder open... go get a cup of coffee (or a beer) and wait till the fluid changes colour. ;>)
Wash rinse repeat for the other 3 wheels.
There are some exceptions to the rules of course and other ways to get bleeding accomplished. Certainly having some help is not a bad idea and can actually be fun.
Oh and a spray bottle (like a plant misting bottle with adjustable spray) is great for brake work, saves on toxic cleaners and can dissolve brake fluid before it removes paint from backing plates or worse. Spraying a mist will also knock down brake dust
    Your welcome P~

MORE Plymouth. Back in the year of 1961 I bought a 57 Plymouth and of course by that time the front set was rusted through the floor and had to have some steel pans welded in and the rockers were bad so screwed some new ones on and painted them with rattle can. Forgot about the torsion bar ride. It rode great. I was shitten in tall cotton. lol

Really glad your going with the original colors... it will look amazing! The new rubber seal will seal better short term, but the old felt seal, will seal better long term, and won't cut groves in the sealing surface. When ever I see the old felt seals, of any type, in swaps meets, flea markets or estate sales, I buy them. My 59 Bel Air still has them.... so did the 60 Catalina I had. I put NOS ones I had, in it. I liked the video. Thank you for the great video.
