Will once again proving that he can question someone's method or motive without being a dick or creating drama by using humor and being a good dude. I hope Simon focuses on health rather than extreme results. He seems generally like a good dude too.
i really like will’s approach! its obvious to see his disappointment, but hes trying his best not to show it
Yeah will treads the line well, and agree about Simon
Dude looks like someone who doesn't know the word "moderation". I hope this won't end in a bad way.
The same addicted mindset that got him overweight is applying to his weightloss/training. I fear nothing will be enough
@@WeirdSeagulwell said, and each one could be as dangerous as the other
I believe he is in a much better, healthier place than back when he was >350lbs. Both physically and mentally.
At least now with the trainers he sees (who are also in charge of his diet/training rn, check his channel), plus his presence on social media, gives him way more support/accountability than before.
I mean he tried to win and he did. You cant be the best if you dont go overboard.
yeah since hes already dealing with ed problems at such a young age
Addictions happen in many ways, looks like he went from a food addiction to a serious obsession with weight.
Not to mention the drug addiction - he is a literal junkie
@@oestergaard141 bro doesn't inject roids rather roids inject him
That's what weight loss is all about becoming addicted to exercise. This is dedication to the extreme. People need to follow this man routine for life.
@@jagr06Not really, balance is key. This guy is able to maintain this because this is the only thing he does in a day like going to gym 3 times a day? How are you content with your life? His parents are affording his whole lifestyle
@@jagr06 either you are deluded from reality or you haven't stepped in the gym for ages or ur just a kiddo who gets motivated fromm anything ]
that is not how weight loss or muscle building or anything for that matter works
it is not about becoming addict , it is about forming a discipline and a sustainable routine , u really think that injecting 9 syringes , drinking 8 l of water and going to the gym 3 times a day is sustainable
he doesn't know moderation , which might become a very big problem in his future and he might end up going back to his old self
As a medical professional this guy needs to speak to a therapist. Not trying to be a dick but he has major mental issues where he goes to major extremes in an unhealthy way which is probably due to own insecurities and issues inside. He’s made amazing progress but went from binge eating to an excessive amount of exercise and taking substances that aren’t healthy long term. He just needs to find a happy medium between the two.
you say it like it's so easy
This guy went from an inspiration to the exact thing you should try to avoid becoming. His obsession with food is still an obsession with food in the opposite extreme. The scary thing is that he’s blinded to how terrible his mental health is by the results he sees in the mirror. I truly hope this doesn’t end in tragedy
Body dysmorphia is the root of all of our problems, from one extreme to the other, it's there and I think it's important to be talked about. Glad this guy got to deal with his Crohn's disease, that's a hell of an achievement but even tho lose or gain, we're all obsessed with food and I see it become a real issue in our everyday lives.
Bro he's addicted to PEDs...his diet is ridiculous and could never give you that type of muscle mass. Dude stuck just about everything in his body that he could to the point his nuts don't even work. Bummer to see this video
@@315peaks absolutely, I agree with you 100%. He seems like a solid guy too. It all comes down to self worth and healthy habits. I hope he gets the help he needs to live a healthy life now that he’s met his goals with the competition. Seems like he doesn’t have balance in any aspect of his life
as long as he doesnt start actual gear he should be ok

It’s very ironic because being natty is healthy lol
The most concerning thing he said. And then he goes on to said say he's "self-aware"...
@@Homme927 honestly it’s causing me pause about my own journey, thinking I’m more self aware than I am. I lost a ton of weight too, granted a little less weight over a slightly longer time, but while I didn’t use substances other than whey and creatine, this has me wondering if my slight concerns about body dysmorphia and disordered eating are based more in fact than I realized… definitely a wake up call at least.
hes not wrong. I am 18 and hypogonad and i started trt which would make me "healthier" than if i wasnt optimizing my health
@@Homme927and he dumps half a bottle of some sweet shit into his oat cause it’s the only sweet thing he’s allowed to take but it’s okay cause he’s “healthy”
Yes. Peptides make you not natty. Not allowed in most (olympic) sports.
Bro is not only taking peptides but also IGF-1. Which is insulin like substance that increases growth hormone, basically a steroid.
Do not try to replicate what this man does. While losing this amount of weight is great, doing it in this fashion is most certainly not healthy.
well written. this is a ridiculous video.
And trt
He also said in the video that people should not imitate him.
Bro talks about his bloodwork being great not knowing that all these PEDs are just masking 90% of the dangers
Poor logic. Marijuana is banned in olympic sports as well. Does that mean anyone who smokes weed is not natty? Modafinil which is an ADHD medication is also banned in olympics
I don't think he realises how mentally unhealthy he is right now. This is not normal..
Yep, and everybody is pushing him.
This is highly dangerous for man with a destroyed selfworth.
Sadly.
He was obese, so he has an eating disorder.
The drugs he's taking are supposed to treat his mental disorder.
Some people actually enjoy living like this.
Being over 350lbs for 5 years is also unhealthy. Gain up to 400 lbs and let’s see you lose 250 lbs naturally
@@NofirstnameNolastnameHe won't live like this for too long, his daddy can't fund this lifestyle for his whole life and he will get a reality check when he actually needs to work and take care of his family or kids all he does right now is eat and go to the gym 3 times a day which is pretty excessive
thats too extreme....he lost the weight..but he did not learn MODERATION....
Agreed. But often times losing weight can be a slippery slope and can become disordered quickly. I think that’s what happening here.
@@natalieg2976 only if it's done that quickly. Living on whole grain rice, potatoes, yogurt, meat, veggies as your main source of food while only drinking water will make you lose weight regardless of exercise or calorie counting and it's easy to keep the weight off due to healthy eating.

Most women that workout once a day eat that at maintenance and he works out 3 times a day? This is delusional to think this is a sustainable way of life
@@aprilchardy1 He's either missing the point or being obtuse. He doesn't seem to understand that the effect is exactly the same whether it's his money or his parents. He doesn't have to worry about money because he has as many safety nets as he needs.

From one extreme to another.
This cant be good at all
i would say PED:S are better than "anabolic steroids", but still its :|
Not all extremes are equal though. You can be extremely talented or extremely inept. I can say one thing for certain though. It's easier to slow down exercising than it is to slow down the route you took to get severely obese. I've been on all three spectrums. From obese, to skinny, to muscular. The hardest ones to give up in order is obese>skinny>muscular.
From an obese state, not eating your favorite things all the time almost felt like starvation. The hunger pangs were insane. The skinny state all it came down was mentality. You were just afraid to eat and if you ate, you'd bargain with yourself on what you can eat and what you'd have to not eat later on. The fit/muscular state, you'd have to fight against a lot of balance to maintain that physicality. From food, to water intake, to physical activities. It is the most draining to maintain therefore the most easy to give up. The other two previous ones had to do one thing, it's either you eat or you don't for the most part.
If I had to pick one thing to be addicted to, it's the one that lets me save the ones closest to me from immediate danger. I can tell you being obese or very skinny doesn't let you do a whole lot of saving in any scenarios.
I set a crazy goal, and had to do crazy things to get there!!
At least my next goals are a lot more tamed! I just want to regain my fertility and stay between 12-15% bodyfat while trying more loose skin rejuvenation methods :)
lol this is not extreme

From obesity being your future cause of death, to switching to steroids being the reason, IS NOT THE GOAL!
Him claiming to be broke while spending 250+$ a week on food and who knows how much on that medication of his parents money is just a different sort of wild. On top of being without a job by choice.
Also with those habits and a battery of meds claiming to be oh so healthy because his bloodwork is fine is also such a red flag. Your blood work being fine is not the be all end all - it's a bare minimum basically which does not magically exempt you from maladies....
Wait he lives off mommy & daddy's money and refused to work a job?? He's a NEET. Yikes. There's nothing attractive about him.
"Why would I want to be natty if I can be healthy" Wait what?
He's doing the "if my bloodwork is good, I'm healthy" shtick. I see so many people in fitness do it lately, as if bloodwork is the end all be all of health. You can have cancer and be dying and your bloodwork will be good for quite a while. And enlarged heart doesn't show on bloodwork anyway.

Simon... you already won. You don't have to take home a trophy. The fact that you're going to a body building competition after losing all that body fat is where the W is.
I lost 150 pounds, it took two years. Down from 500 to 350. Then spent a year weight lifting. Gained a lot of muscle, lost some measurable inches of fat, but maintained 350 pounds. I'd like to drop another 100 pounds, but I also want to maintain my new muscle gain. It's not easy.
Carnivore
You will maintain the muscle easily at that weight. Even when in deficit, your body has plenty of fat to burn for energy. Don't be afraid to do -500 kcal per day.
@@davorzdralo8000 This, 100%. Don't be afraid of a kcal deficit, just make sure to eat plenty of protein
Did you have issues with excess skin after losing 150 pounds?
In addition to what Davor said, remember that once you gain muscle the first time, it’s much easier to gain back in the future, so even if you do lose muscle in a calorie deficit, once you get to a place where you’re happy getting back to maintenance or a surplus, that muscle will come back much quicker. Edit: forgot to mention also, it’ll be way easier on your joints long term to focus more on the weight loss in this stage of your journey, and then really lean into the weight training later on

Methinks he left out a few details and items in his supplement protocol...
Doesn't he have crohns (sp)? I hope he's close to his general practitioner. "Why would I wanna be natty when I could be healthy?" I get his ailment, but that was a highly irresponsible and messed up thing to say.
Ozempic to fight back against McDonald's? Whatever, man. Normally I can get behind someone with such a drastic transformation and said "Good on you, man," but this is heading toward a bad ending.
Hopefully now that he won the competition, he can start cycling off and finding sustainable means for longevity
@@CMFrey-ii5tx yeah he'll need to get through this psychologically
Not me tearing up at the end 😢 this was such an incredible transformation! Thanks for sharing Will
i stopped being impressed by his journey once i saw all them needles lol, rip to this guy in the future "healthy" yeah sureeee
the oats with THAT MUCH SYRUP & JAM is crazy
At that point may as well just go get a strawberry cheese cake
I love to see an ALL NATURAL transformation!!!
lmao
😂😂
look in the mirror(if you natty that is), we all on that journey. would i like to see it without all the needle junk, sure but i can look past that and see his hard work and dedication.
This extreme approach is both unsustainable and deeply concerning. It’s doubtful he’s fully transparent about what he’s doing to his body, especially with such drastic measures. Shifting from one unhealthy extreme to another shows a lack of balance and a disregard for true wellness. The consequences of this obsession-whether past overindulgence or current reliance on injections-are inevitable. This isn’t a path to health, but a dangerous spiral with serious repercussions. He should consider "training" his mind as well, before its too late...
Just bc something is “zero” calories doesn’t mean you ignore what it actually is lol….
EXACTLY
As someone who is 190cm and around 94 kg at the moment I have to say I stopped watching the video after 2:28. Push yourself but stay pure.
Losing 150lbs in a year id questionable for a lot of people, but i respect tf outta Simon for doing exactly what he set out to do, i hope to be able to lose more weight and meet my goals as well
Must be nice to have parents that would support you like that
pharmaceutical episode from wealthy people life
"I'd rather be healthy than natty"
Ya know, for this guy, that doesn't bother me one bit. Not at all. His is extreme but he's trying to do something extreme given his original condition and existing conditions
Yes
For anyone who's struggling with weight and watching this video: Do not take his advice on Ozempic. I used to be there and took it, but that stuff is useless unless you take it FOR LIFE. Once your dose ends the hunger comes back with a vengeance making you gain that weight back in no time. Even a medical doctor told me that statistics show people gaining that weight lost with Ozempic straight back. Unless you're completely stacked with money and have no problem jabbing yourself with a needle every month for the rest of your life, don't take it. All you'll do is waste money. As annoying as it sounds, there's no cheatcode for weight loss, it's just about making changes and sticking to it. Try to identify your issues in your nutrition and work on them, and it'll be much better and more sustainable than walking around with a full pharmacy in your bloodstream.
From Morbidly obese to injecting steroids in one year! Greg will have a field day with this!
This dude really asked if taking drugs makes you not natty lmao. Also, if this dude is 'broke' how is he paying for all the drugs he's taking? You can't convince me that he doesn't come from money.
He said in the video that his parents pay for everything
He’s sponsored by transcend
tren is crazy
😂😂😂
