I mean it is a bit sad that he can’t get that texting that or calling and hearing your friends voice or seeing them are different things and yeah he wants to experience the moment and excitement with his friend. I wish texting was never invited it’s such a de-evolved way of communication not to mention that it can also lead to misunderstandings. Also the back and forth can actually end up taking wayyyy longer. As a kid I never would have guessed we would be using digital telegrams as the wave of the future.
