If you select “Preserve All” before attaching, the attachment wont disappear and you wont have to put it back to place, in this video your attachment feature was named “None”
This is great, I was following another tutorial about attaching glasses since I wear them. However, your method is more thorough. The other tutorial just said drag and drop the accessory on the 'face' within the viewer. Then select the attachment spot as 'head'. That's a great mask too! I'm an entire noob but my question is, once I attach the accessory (mask, glasses, etc), will it show up in metahuman creator?
I'm getting into UE5 and character creation again for my portfolio and I neeeeded this!! Was just wondering how I could add piercings to my rig. How did u make the bridge piercing actually? I made a septum in blender but whenever I attach it to my metahuman in ue5, the rig for posing gets suuuuper laggy and stuck?
I'm so glad this was helpful! Keep it up proud of you for chipping away at your portfolio. I literally scaled and resized a septum ring for the bridge piercing, then used the central brow// top of nose as the socket parent :) make sure that snapping is turned off when repositioning so it doesn't get stuck, and as another commenter mentioned select “Preserve All” before attaching, the attachment wont disappear and you wont have to put it back to place
@@loelfolio omg thank u sm!! I’ve been struggling for like 2 days and it wasn’t until like an hour ago I realized everything was glitching cause of the fucking snapping button was enabled💀 thanks sm anyway
Hello, when you re-open your project the next day, is your prop still positioned on your metahuman? My prop does not position its self on the metahuman when I re-open my project.
I would really like to add hearing aids to my meta human. Do you have any recommendations for this? I was even trying to figure out how to scan mine in then open it in blender
Hi! This is a lovely idea, You could try using polycam or 3dScanner app to photogrammetry scan your hearing aids and export them as an FBX into blender or unreal :)

I knew there would be a way to fix the repositioning issue!! You legend thank you for pointing this out 🎉
When I choose the mode "all" the cap flies away all the time somewhere, works normally only with mode "none" UE 5.4

Before attach, set "preserve current" then you don't have to readjust the mask 2nd time. Hope that will be helpful for you.
hey, I can not find t "preserve current" in blueprint, could you tell me more about it?
