This was probably the most complicated thing I've ever done but it was totally worth it to own the world's only pair of solid lead full metal hulk hands. I'm gonna try really hard not to eat them.

I can’t help but think bronze would have been a better choice for the metal, what I’d be most worried about is if the lead caved in and you ended up with your hand pinched between the steel pipe and lead. With bronze it’s stronger per unit area and thicker walled for the same weight. That, and I’m pretty sure it would turn green if it oxidizes.
Bronze is actually the best idea I’ve read in the comments and I have no idea why this isn’t higher up. Relatively lightweight and extremely strong, while also having the side effect of turning green: it was made to be.
This idea would be awesome for hulk hand sculptures on the shelf

Looking at the slow-mos, as I predicted, there is definitely a possibility of breaking or at least hurting your wrists.

When he busted through the particle board, my first thought was how badly that thing could have messed up his feet. With all that momentum, it seems possible that he could lose his grip on the handle.
Probably could've made for a safer and potentially cooler video if he made the hands out of something like aluminum. I assume that less weight would give him more control, and he might be able to throw faster punches, putting his body into it rather than relying on gravity to get the job done.
imagine on the brick wall part his he slips a bit to forward and the weight of the hulk hands back his arm into the bricks.

if you used a lighter metal like aluminum or tin you could probably get similar results without your arm turning purple. you should make that at some point to test the differences between them, also you should definitely make bismuth Hulk hands. they'd probably shatter on impact but they'd look so cool.

When I was 5 years old, I broke my arm, so one of my dad's students (He teaches people to play guitar) heard of this and he bought me hulk hands because he knew that was my favorite superhero, and I really appreciate that.
You should brace these down to forearm for more control and less self-damage.
Seems like the bruises you got were from the handle rocking back and forth in your hand causing the edges to smash your forearm.
It would also likely make them easier to lift and move through certain angles

When I was only 16 I was already breaking cinder block bricks. The skinny one that he broke. This guy broke 3 stacks of cinder bricks with the hands, that's nothing. Karate masters can break more than 5 stacks with just the palm of your hands

I was sure he was going to put some sort of shock absorption in there, but I guess that might have also reduced the impact a little. It's also funny that he could have spray painted them green, but in the original Hulk comic he was gray, so it's still pretty authentic.

That was awesome dude but you should put some padding in it though, not only to lessen the impact on your arm and avoid injuries (damn that looks pretty painful, at 14:10) but also to somewhat stabilize the whole thing and make punching and lifting these easier. You know, making it so that your arm is always straight and center inside. Other than that, those were pretty nice!

Banding the parts of the mood together was very smart. I did not attach the two parts of the mood prior to pouring a 12 pound brass bell. The molten metal floated the top of the mold off the bottom. The guy helping me make the pour and I had to jump to keep the molten brass from coming through our shoes.

Also, it's good to attribute shrinkage rates for clay (I'm just a ceramisist and not someone that understands casting). Clay can shrink anywhere from 8% to 16% when it's totally dry.
