I am also waiting for vid(s) of the new Epson L18050 DTF conversion.There are several videos but it is Indian language.I think it is harder and costlier to maintain it bcoz it has a new damper ,new print head design and a maintenance box that needs a replacement when it is full or buy a maintenance box resetter.With the L1800 you can just use a 10ml syringe to pull some ink in the damper and inject a cleaning solution in the print head if you need to declog it and you just have to download an Epson adjustment tool to reset the waste pad counter.

Both are going to have similar maintenance. Converted printer always will have more maintenance than the dual heads.
