Thank you! Thank you for sharing this. I watched this video three months ago and wanted to purchase the printer. Life changed, and I decided to invest in my rental property. Second, since I don't have the space for this printer, I sent all my designs to TK Sales, a DTF printing company. Oh my Goodness!!! I am so glad I held off buying the printer. I don't have the space, and if anyone is reading this, please check out DTF printing companies. They will take your design, logos, branding images, and whatever you have and place it on a gang sheet for less than .75 cents. I am glad I did watch this video to learn the process. Just like I said, life changed, and I thank you for this video.
Thank you for sharing. I know this printer can print up to a little over 11 inches wide but since it has a roll of paper on it, do you know how tall it can print? Thank you.
What is your average cost per design you're printing? Like with the supplies you're using, inks, film, etc. Right now, I'm purchasing DTF transfers from a third party, and i would like to see if it's worth the cost to buy a printer in-house.
In my opinion you made the correct choice with the A3. The printheads are cheap compared to the next step up for barely any resolution gain. 320 I think for A3 and over 1,000 for the next step up. No brainer for me, A3 all the way.
Hi, your video was great - I also have one - new to this, I have one question, when you go to size your picture, I am at a loss, it started out right , but when i changed the setting to make it look bigger- which i must have done wrong - for the (x) and (y) what do you use for the correct size - my screen is so small and when i print it prints off the paper. Understand if your too busy and can't answer. there are no videos to really tell you how to do that part.
Hiii🌸Alison… so do I need to turn my printer into a sublimation printer if I purchase a procolored dtf printer? I want to make shirts and cups and tumblers. I have a heat press and a Cricut and silhouette portrait 4. I have a tumbler heat press. I want to know if the files I purchased from Etsy can be used?
I have the same printer and it printed beautifully but now the color is faint. The white on the back is perfect, it's the color that is not vibrant, any advice?
Im from Norway and been looking where to buy thos procolored printer but im just afraid of being scam and if im gonne buy it here can you guarantee it that it will arrive and working?
thanks for the video...i am setting mine up (same model) but the ink holder under the lid does not slide over when i turn it on..was there a release you had to do?
Thank you for this! After a few weeks of mine sitting in the box, I'll be installing mine today. Question. When you were away for a few days, did you use the moisture solution so it wouldn't clog? And do you use a humidifier?
You could use it then put it in “vacation mode “ basically using another set of dampers (cartridges) to use cleaner/ moisturizer to flush the printhead when not in use for a long period of time. But this printer is made to print daily or very often , you can contact the lady in the video and see if she will sell you just transfers which is very common .
@@AlisonCrafts Thank you! I just bought this exact printer from somebody locally for $700 CAD, he's replacing the ink lines and the Printheads for me too, so I'm really excited to start using it! Do you have any recommendations on what I should be doing and what I shouldn't be doing to make sure the printer stays good? I know I gotta print something every day, but anything else?
80% of the people who buy these have no business spending that money. I have one and I really have no business with one because I print so little. They must be maintained and cleaned religiously, the printheads have to be replaced. The white clogs quickly. Are they fun.. Yes are they also a PITA yes. If you have no idea what DPI is or have no ability to edit images it will become a big huge clogged up paper weight soon. Everybody sells the prints you want cheap .. Unless you are spitting out 20 shirts a day you are better off paying for prints. Unless you KNOW what you are doing, you should not buy one of these
Yes! 100% yes! And that's also assuming they send you a working printer. Because these can't be tested at the factory, they Procolored has no quality control. They will send customers printers that don't work. They don't honor their own warranty. They make customers with bad printers PAY for replacement parts to try and fix the $4000 paperweight.
Hi Alison. I came across these videos today and they scared me. It seems that it is necessary to take urgent precautions to protect from DTF powder. Watch_1: th-cam.com/video/1J6iTlrzglw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8QZ9u-wydUdF-MPf Watch_2: th-cam.com/users/liverBi9uAT8EHo?si=GoMTNoCNJnSNd_pb
These printers have been replaced from the epson photo printer. dtf printers these printers are made for very thin photo ink dtf ink is not suitable for these printheads thick white ink is not suitable for these printheads it is like silicone. when the printhead stays in a slightly hot environment, the printhead dies, that is, 90% printer dies before you get the money you pay, I say don't take any risk, but you know.
why da hell would you waste the ink you are supposed to put it back in the bottle or put the ink back in the printer bottles . smh people please dont listen to this woman and waste expensive ink

I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see what all my make with the DTF printer! DTF prints have been my jam the last month of so
Do you have information how long the designs last after pressing to a shirt ? Maybe a wash test video
Done correctly it will last 50+ washes

You can use 13” rolls and the older models can print as long as you want but the newer models only can print up to 40”.

My question is how many times will you fill the ink before replacing the dtf film roll. I just bought one myself.
Great to see a video of EXACT same printer I have.
!
I agree! All the others I found were not the same and I was getting a little worried that I'd do something wrong. Lol
Only regret is not buying the next size up I absolutely love my A3
Is the print quality good or does it feel like plastic
The exact question I’m considering is should I get the larger size

Is it still working well over 2 months later? Thanks.
I'd be surprised if it was working 2 WEEKS later. Those printers SUCK. Procolored is GARBAGE. I'm not sure which is worse: the printer or the company.

That’s a super expensive printer…wow..glad you have the money 💰 thanks for sharing 👍
My light with the trash can and paper keeps flashing. It won't stop!
We just put mine together and installed the drivers and mine will not print. I have a print failure. And I don't know why.
Does that price cover all devices that are requried for the process?
Ciao posso usare in questa stampante un tipo di pellicola che si pressa per 8 secondi e si stacca a caldo

How to keep it from clogging up the printer head if I only print it few time a month ? Thanks in advance
Do a head cleaning daily in between uses

How long does it take to print a 12"x12"? Curious.
Depends on the design but most prints I’ve done have been about 5 mins
