    Thanks for the honesty. I've had the A3+R since end of February and found that you have to be committed. These machines need daily attention if you don't want major issues later on. I do capping station cleaning daily and wet capping at night after use everyday. Yes it does take time learning to use the printer, shaker oven and the software but the software is very powerful once you learn it.

    For the printers, the issues arise with the modified printers like the one in this video. For the commercial machines, If you don't know what you're doing with them and how to calibrate them, save your money.
    The substance is called oil... for the fumes, you need to get a 375CFM exhaust fan and that should take care of the fumes. If you are using the air purifier they provided, remove it and get a real 6 inch exhaust fan. You should see the oven working to keep the temperature when the exhaust fan is on.

    It’s true I have spoke with so many people and they said the same thing till one day I ran into cobra DTF machine they are hands down the best … they actually send you a technician to your home or warehouse where ever it is and hands down they calibrate and sit there till your machine is ready to go with you and your are happy. But they are in a little more expensive side but they are a nice machine and their customer. service side is good.

    I've had the Prestige A3+R for a couple of weeks now. I am loving it so far, but I had a couple of hours of panick attacks the first day because it was displaying "critical error" lights when trying to start it up. Turns out there was a clamp holding the printhead carriage in place. I havent seen a single unboxing where someone had to remove this clamp, nor did the tutorials say anything about it. I was lucky enough to notice it and remove it before sending it back and had the printer running and printing within the first 24hrs.

    You explain it well. I normally describe that as "not ready for general public end-users" First 3D Printers, early 90s computers when you opened to nothing but a command prompt (before the mouse), first drones etc. If you have been an early adopter of any new technology it is always "tinker and try", not "plug and play". You gotta be the kind of person who works on their own stuff without being intimidated or frustrated unless you want to wait a years for everything to be refined down to push button for simplicity

      We don’t get any headaches because we take the correct precautions but the reason why I do it is to provide a service for people. I could just buy my transfers to make shirts but i want to run a business to create opportunities for people and provide people with jobs. Just pressing shirts would be one job but making transfers once I get the orders consistently enough and can justify hiring someone it will become another hob for another individual. Ok, I agree & some I disagree. I have the exact same one you have.
    1. My first one had a broken piece in the machine. You, being an influencer, will have better customer service available than a small business like mine. After 6 weeks of trying to get calls back and the issue resolved. I did a youtube video discussing the issues I was having, so be careful who you buy from. The next day, I received an email that my replacement printer was on the way. 2. I bought a large dehumidifier that helped the machine not have as many problems. 3. Every day, I shake the inks. If I do not, & miss 1 day of printing it takes forever to get it up and running. 4. If you do not print everyday, detailed graphic images I wouldn't spend the money. I love designing start to finish so i don't mind the extra work. Every issue is another 30 to 45 minutes of researching how to fix it. Today it was how to reset the waste tank setting. I print roughly 15 to 25 prints a day. Personally I love the printer. Just know it will take patience. The company is not as responsive to a small business's like myself. Once again a awesome and truthful video from A Dubb!

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think me being an influencer made a difference. If that was the case why would I have had the experience I had? Check the date of my unboxing video till the next time I made a video actually printing. At least a month. You think that’s preferential treatment?
      After they fixed mine I’ve never had any issues. Never had to shake my ink. The A3+R actually has a self agitation system. Mine sits sometimes and i just do a print head cleaning before i print the next time and I have no issues. Had to draw white ink with the syringe shine once but that’s about it. Been working fine.
      The company you decide to purchase from definitely makes a difference. Aa print supply was ok. Could have been better but they got it resolved. Not was fast as i would have liked but they got it done. Just trying to let people know what they are in for based off of my experience. This was not preferential treatment.

    • @TamiT3
      @TamiT3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @adubbproductions sorry I offended you. You took that personal. In no way did I mean it that way. Simply said, you have a following, you inspire others to buy
      products the companies sell, if not directly, then indirectly. People see these machines via your channel, the company benefits from your videos. They make sales from your demonstrations of their product. Sometimes even giving you equipment for you to show others. There is nothing wrong with that. That is simply the way business works. I'm happy for all the influencers on here and have made great friends. I am not an influencer, just something i didn't want to try, I'm not good at that. I watch to learn, encourage others, and I thought to be encouraged, to watch the equipment you and others use to see if it fits right for my business. I have learned many things from you. The main point was missed of MY OPINION, to others if they are looking at dtf. That took a whole other meaning than what I was commented.

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TamiT3 you don’t offend me at all. Don’t take it that way. I’m just t try but to reason. I made a video about the experience i had. It wasn’t a pleasant one. Lol. So i just think it didn’t make sense to me that you thought i might have gotten that treatment when i just made this video about what to expect. I wasn’t offended just trying to reason with you. Sorry if you took it that way.

    @Allan Wade - That oily substance is glycerine that is indeed a byproduct of the adhesive melting. You may even notice it on the transfers after they have sat for a while. I have yet to research the side effects of exposure to it. I am using an Epson F2100 for DTF, which means one sheet at a time and manual powdering and curing. No roll to roll. Plus most of these images, the people print are offline with 72DPi The software upscales to 1440. But if you did not work on your image before processing through the software it will look Granny. Noisy and not sharp. You have to start off with at least 300 dpi is the standard In the print industry. Plus I see a lot of people printing black on black garments and white on white garments and that's a no no in the printing industry

  • @hacktheworld-d8o
    @hacktheworld-d8o 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Add another problem with the dtf, You see the shirt that you're wearing. Look how wrinkle the image is After a while of washing and wearing, it begins to crack and peel due to the fact that the Image is Coated with glue. That's how it sticks on top of the garment. And that powdered glue is pretty much the same type of glue of a glue gun I threw my DTF printer in the shed. And I had two forty inch epsons that I discarded as well I'm sticking to what I know is high quality, and Durability, And that is discharge screen printing. The image won't crack or pill and you can iron on top of it with no problem. This type of printing gives your garment breathability.
    And won't feel like if it's a heavy sticker on the shirt. With discharge, there is no ink sitting on top of the shirt So you can't feel the ink.. Instead, it is died into the fabric, so it becomes part of the garment

    Looking in to getting in to printings shirts. My question is why didn't you go with a machine that was DTG and DTF?

    • @adubbproductions
      @adubbproductions  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, I already have 2 Ri1000 dtg printers. So dtg is covered. But when making DTF prints it’s very difficult if you are printing out large quantities on a dtg printer. With the dtf printer you have the roller system and you can press print and walk away nd come back to 20 or so DTFs. With the dtg you gotta powered each one individually and put it in an oven then take it out and repeat for each print. What if someone orders 50 or 100. That’s a lot of labor. I’d rather set up my dtf connect it to the shaker oven press print and walk away.

    I purchased an Omniprint 14.5 inch printer. It is the only machine that would fit in my door. But it prints white ontop of color in the same pass and it is fast as hell. Mine however did work out of the box because I had a training session for 6 hours. It came with the purchase. What does not work out of the box are the color profiles and that is what I am trying to dial in. Some of my customers that have 4 or 5 color logos do not like the feel of the transfer and still want me to ink them. It kinda defeats the purpose of getting the printer. So I do not know how long I will hold on to mine. I will give it the winter tho. INKS.. Here is what I KNOW. I use China inks 6 years in my Roland so I have purchased the same for my DTF along with powder. What would have cost me 1600.00 US dollars was 450 shipped from China. Those bottles are also unmarked. Why? Because then you can put your own labels on them? Do you follow me? My seller hinted that to me as I was making my order. DTF rolls are not feasible. The weight and shipping would not make sense, so stick to US for that. Anyway, I found the channel while looking for color profile solutions. Not many OmniPrint DTF videos out there. I can say, great experience so far 3 months in. Nice machine and support seems good too.

      Thank you for sharing that. I appreciate it. They try to tell you that the ink formula is different and they n can’t guarantee other things now will work with your machine I’ve ram all types of ink as well and they work the same in general. Some have a different feel but for the most part they all generally print fine. I appreciate your comment and insight. Thank you.
