I remember playing that original Street Fighter machine with my brother back in the 80s. We only played a few rounds, but were so tired afterwards lol. Glad to see you got a chance to visit the arcade before it shut down. Now to make another trip out there myself before it wraps up!

I'm so sad learning about the arcade closing down. I absolutely love retro games and I love arcades full of retro games even more. If I had the money I would open up a place like that, because those games are like no other in comparison to the newer, different games. trip to japan is go to toy store buy lots of transformers, macross, and gundam and what not, the car scene, food,.....so would luv to come there during the car show they have or during the toy fair...
Oh, I have like half a dozen of those metal puzzles... they are very well made and interesting. Quite a long running series, glad to see they still exist and are still making new stuff. Got them on my first trip to Japan at a Tokyu Hands, some 12 yrs ago now more or less. That kinda square one Sharla got, I have it. That one is... doable. The hardest level I got which doesn't show up in the video... I haven't solved it to this day. xD It already passed through the hands of a bunch of friends, no one found out the trick just yet. Anyways, great video guys! A pitty that the arcade is going away, but given the amount of coverage and how many people are going there before closure, at least it's getting a proper final bravo. The entire place is a work of art, it deserves the cover it's getting.
Great video! I would have been too creeped out to go to the arcade, but I know you like that kinda aesthetic, so I'm glad you had the chance to go. It was nice to see Candie--I was lucky to get one her figurines of a Pokémon awhile back...I still love it. I try to get other things sometimes, but they're always sold out (or are the super expensive ones LOL). Which is great for her, she's so talented. :) I hope your grandpa likes the puzzles. :)
The Anata no Warehouse looked so amazing! So sad to hear they're closing it down, would have loved to go. Also cuteness overload on all the toys! The child (and adult, honestly) in me in screaming ^_^

Arcade? That looks more like some creepy escape room. (Maybe they should turn it into one!) That Street Fighter game looked interesting...that WOULD tire my hands out too though. We have that Rizmo thing in the U.S. now too. I've seen commercials for it. It grows the more you cuddle it I think.
Oh, I absolutely love Yamashiroya! Went there both times I went to Tokyo back in August 2017 and August 2018. Just a shame that they didn't have the Transformers figures nor the ship models I wanted both times I went.
Was in the kawasaki arcade mid october, definately a must place for any arcade or old rusty neighborhood fans. Have to say that I'm really bummed that I did not go to the mens bathroom 🙈 that looked dope. Also missed the new tamagochi on Yamashiroya 🙊 Oh well that means that I have to visit Japan again 😏
Crap, I planned to visit Kawasaki Warehouse on my trip last year, but eventually we skipped it. So, I was like "this year, I'm gonna go!" and they close it down a month before I return. At least my friend who told me about Walled City and Kawasaki Warehouse got to go there in May.
8:48 I just watched Detective Pikachu tonight. It looked amazing. I never got really really into the game, just watched the show when I was in college, so I didn't know all of the ones I saw.
Damn can't believe they're closing down, wanted to come to Japan for the rugby world cup, that place was high on the list as a must-visit! Never got to the cup, so it's sad to here that the Kowloon is closing down, looks like I've missed it for good.
I also love sweet potatoes with a passion, I feel you Candie. Sweet potato bread sounds heavenly. Also I don't know if I could survive in Japan when the fruits are so expensive. I couldn't live without fruit😥

I love that toy store as I stay in the Ueno/Asakusa area when I visit Japan. Heading back in less than 2 weeks and I always check out this store.
