If i may express a concern regarding speaking those frases, the problem is that if you demonstrate the ability to talk Japanese but after you don't understaind the answer, probably because they will think you can understaind them, and then you have to ask them to speak english xP i don't know... Although if the shop is close enough that problem wouldn't be as bad. Love your videos Sharla, really do. All the best ;)
@@Comand86n2everyone seems to use a lot of gestures here, so I think you’d be able to figure out what they’re trying to say even if you don’t fully understand the answer 😊

It makes travelling around so much fun!!! Even to the super remote areas that don't have much going on, still feels like a little treasure hunt looking for the stamp 😂❤
The huge white cat is the BEST souvenir I have seen from Japan. I had a huge black cat with clear yellow eyes. He lived for almost 20 years. He came as a stray and stayed as a family member.
My husband and I are making plans to visit Japan for our 5th wedding anniversary (2028) and watching your travel videos always gets me excited all over again. Even though I have quite a while to go. I've been doing Japanese lesson at home every morning with my coffee and while my husband doesn't actively participate, I do catch him repeating certain words or phrases.
My partner and I absolutely love your travel vlogs. ❤️ The level of detail and care makes me feel like I'm coming along on your adventures ✨️ Another great video.
I have one of your stamp books that I took with me to Japan last October, and it was so fun collecting stamps in it! It’s one of my favourite, and by the the most interesting of all my Japan souvenirs!
I’m so jealous of those who get to visit and collect stamps! Absolutely obsessed with the cat stamps omggggg, and that cat statue at the temple is the cutest (Ushka’s nails are so pretty!). So many opportunities to make and leave memories :,) the ghibli stamps are gorgeous too.
This video put a big smile on my face. I enjoyed it so much. Thank You for showing all these nice places! ⛩ Little sidenote: 7 years ago I watched Your Videos in preparation for my first journey to japan. Now its two weeks to go for my 6th journey, still enjoying Your videos - and I just cant wait to be back. Thank You for the many inspirations over all these Years. 🙏
I recently went to Japan (in Feb) and I got the stamp book that you and Ushka made and I absolutely loved using it and filling it up! Thank you so much for creating a stamp book!
its always a treat to find places in japan that have stamp stations, feels like im accomplishing a hidden achievement when i do so! apart from train stations, you can also find stamps in tourists spots (e.g tokyo skytree), shops (e.g JUMP shop), and parks! (e.g snow monkey park)
You, along with LGR, are my favorite channels on YT. Don't get me wrong, I follow quite a bit of excellent people, and yes, including Abroad In Japan. But thers something so relaxing and informative. Im planning a Japan trip over the summer with my two boys and my brother(just a dorky bunch from NYC) and this side-quest in Kyoto is a definite thing to look into. Thank you!
I watch so many Japan vlogs but something about the view from that hotel really got me missing Japan Soo much 💔 just reminded me of the first night I arrived to study abroad and stayed in a Tokyo hotel before my connecting flight to Hiroshima 😢 ofc in a business hotel, not a luxury one lol
I Love my stamp book! I can't wait to get another one and come back to fill it up again! Those green tea and their jasmine green tea is my absolute favorite! I've even found a spot here that sells it and I've learned how to brew it myself 😍 it's becoming an addiction lol Much love from Arizona 💜💜

This was such a fantastic (and comfy!) video, I love the idea of being able to collect stamps from places you visit as a souvenir. Thank you for the quick Japanese lesson too, committing it to memory for the day I finally get to visit Japan!🙏😌
Loved this video, we went to Tokyo and Kyoto last September and stayed at that Mitsui Garden, it was my favourite hotel of the trip, especially as the staff were really kind and helpful when i got bitten to death by mosquitoes!! They directed me to the English speaking hospital, explained everything to me via Google translate and wrote directions out 🥹 Then when we checked out a completely different receptionist asked how my bites were! Such amazing service ❤ I also took the Neko Neko Inn stamp book and collected so many amazing stamps, that was the highlight of our Japan trip (oh, as was bumping into Ushka outside Neko Neko Inn!)!! ☺️ I need to come back to Japan!! 🇯🇵

If you really like fried food I recommend a visit to US's southern states. We fry everything. And it's a lot less than $112. Keep being your wonderful self.
Loved this video so much! We went to the cat temple in November, but only the keyring maneki Neko were available, you're so lucky to have been able to get the actual figure! Can't wait to be back in Japan this year, I'll be stamp collecting much more successfully with this tips haha! ❤
Whenever in the future my husband and our three boys go there I will have learnt a lot from you and Chris. My son could get addicted to the stamps as always love the video and hi to Anushka.
