just picked up a CRX shell a few months ago and planning a K-swapped AWD setup. Thanks for the videos and I look forward to the next ones.

Get my guy them views! Trying to comment for effect but love the projects. Your audio and video sound great. Pretty good motion compensation, keeping a steady shot for most interactions looks best like 4:40 with sawzaw. You brought the work to the camera. I’m guessing you’re using a iPhone. Maybe consider one that’s sim locked or something as a second angle. They could help remove the hand camera move. Also if you have a 3d printer or access, a timbre would be great and you can print some very effective ones for almost nothing. Your could also buy one. I would also suggest a ring lite. Maybe 2 one you could also use under the car to control the lifting better in those shots. Another cool vid. If you the like the hand cam it could be something you use for your style. That’s where the fumble would help. I like the hand cam at 10:20ish.
Another suggestion would be to do a “sizzle” shot when you finish anything. A slow zoom in or slow passing shot with some up temp music or something would help highlight the hardware and the work you did. It doesn’t even have to be anything that hard or rare. Most people that would tune in have little actual mechanical skills so it takes less to get them impressed. Like upcoming when you do the break kit:
Setup problem statement in handheld mode. Do your intro like that and explain the problem you will be fixing (this is a lot like speech class in school) do a setup shot showing where you are currently, perhaps with a audio overlay talking about where you are or the last step thst lead to the breaks video. Setup 2 cameras, one macro one micro both on tripods. Do alll the actual assembly and do a Timelapse with some break ins for in situ challenges. You should always have some secondary challenge it helps crest more drama and investment from the viewer (maybe the threads need retapped or the break lines leak and need upgraded to braded lines, and maybe you had already ordered them knowing it was going to be your minor challenge mid vid). Finishing your work and do a sizzle shot of the brakes installed and shiny, don’t forget the catchy music, maybe do some voice over During or after the sizzle shot (this shot shows us overcoming the challenge we outline in the beginning) then come back with a closing shot, keep this part short as people will click away as soon as they think your done, outline what’s next and hit them with the like comment subscribe ( annoying but the call to action is important)
Keep up the cool projects can’t wait to see what you do in The future.

No updates at the moment ive been tied up with frank the obs chvey since its closest to driving. My plans for the driveshaft are probably a s1built stage 2 kit. But im not completely sure at the moment.

I like the content, but it’s hard to hear what you’re saying when the music is playing
