Ok question for you, I’m not a big coffee person but I got a espresso machine for Christmas and what I’m looking for out of it is to really get a kick start in the morning at 4:00am how do I need to make my drinks to make this happen ?
What do you mean? Kind of unclear. Espresso will provide you with plenty of caffeine, if you start your day at 4am i would have at least two shots. Espresso is the strongest form of coffee so just have more or less depending on the energy. I’d recommend just drinking them straight, like a shot.
@@coffeeauthority hey! Thanks to you I just made my first real made textured latte! All the other videos didnt mention how many seconds do I neee to wait when the wand is on the surface of the milk.(they talked about other machines). Your 4 seconds method works like a charm! I always made a cappucino textured milk but now I know how to make a latte on this machine! And you know what, the art isn't the most important thing as long as you made a tasty cup 😉
That is great. I had the same issues as no one would say for how long to texture the milk and I would always end up over steaming it. Glad that helped.
Ive been looking for away to make the Milk steaming I guess I have to buy me a coffee machine but instead of putting coffee I'll put tea, have u ever tried that before???
One day I hope to find a video where someone shows you how to do something with this thing without having a scale, disperser, thermometer, etc. After spending $700, you should be able to get the best use out of the machine without having to spend another $200 on stuff like knock boxes and scales and thermometers, etc.
This espresso machine’s heating element is a thermoblock and not a traditional boiler. It does not allow to steam and pull shots simultaneously. You can only do one at a time.
This really helped me, I was doing it all wrong. Now my milk comes out perfect!!
Awesome!
This was really helpful, thank you :)
The milk foam appears to be too thin from your technique
Do you move the pitch while you froth the milk
When i am steaming i have double of the milk in the jug before 5min what do i do please?
Hi This is very helpful, may i know what's the size of you latte cup?
They are about 6 oz each

Anyone else having difficulty twisting the steam dial? Help pls
What is the tool you are using at 3:22 minutes before you tamp the espresso?
Its called a Palm Distributer to distribute the coffee evenly. You can find it on Amazon for less than $15.
@@coffeeauthority thank you!
Nice.
SonicBomber thanks- sorry for the poor latte art.

@@coffeeauthority btw i use Mauro beans, recommend them, stingy, caffeined, a bit spicy, real good

@@coffeeauthority👍
What is the difference between steaming and frothing milk?
I say steaming when im only warming the milk and frothing when i am introducing air into it
Foam slightly too thin for art I think, extra time adding initial bubbles would have done the trick
4-5 seconds? I do 25-27 seconds with this machine. I followed a video that told me to do so.

I haven’t but I have heard people who have.. i dont think it will be very good since it takes time for the tea to develop.. who knows.
@@coffeeauthority hmmmm yeah I think I'll try it out I have too.. thanks
@@lillyme9056 let me know how it goes!
@@coffeeauthority ok for sure.
Has anyone tried using bigger jug than the usual 480 ml jug that comes with the machine?
Yes works fine but takes too long to steam the milk
😁

Great idea. You make a video and share it with me. I’d love to learn.
U said steaming for 5 sec but while you are talking about 10 sec and u didn't stop steaming yet
I think he meant those 5seconds for adding the air into the milk
Former Starbucks barista, froth the milk while the shots are being done!(: prep your milk before anything.

@@coffeeauthority oh wow thats unfortunate. good to know, I did just purchase one. thanks
