Thank you for the thorough "walk through". In comparing the Ranger Lariat with the Colorado Z71, how did you find the solidity and build quality? Many Thanks. Kindly, Graham.
I disagree with you about the shifter. The one in the Lariat reminds me of the quirky over-engineered joystick gear selector that BMW uses. I prefer the taller gear selector in the XLT.
That brake hold sucks! I hate that crap even when you disable it it still kind of does it. It will get you in a wreck, because when you go to pull out and the vehicle hesitates due to the hold and it is a situation of where you need to do it quickly. I know some people are saying well you're one of those that pull out in front of people but that is not at all it. I am someone who when they pull out I try not to infringe on the driver at all. I am speaking like at a red light where you are turning and you start to go but when you press the gas pedal and there is a delay because of the hold then lurches forward which then throws off timing . Very uncomfortable feeling and I raced growing up and nothing is worse when you don't have confidence in your vehicle.
And tows 7,500 pounds. I laugh when someone says "you don't need the V6" - even though the V6 increases torque by a third, as well as an extra 45hp. When you are towing up a mountain road about 8,000-10,000 feet, it's cold and wet and don't have the V6, you are going to regret it for a long time.
@JB Reviews: My next vehicle i want to upgrade is this one & I like that color also. I just wanted to grt an idea on the price of one.I want the 4WD in it.
Wow! You missed a bunch of information. You need to explain all the variables, not just your biased opinion. You said always get the off-road package, but did not mention that it changes the ride quality of the truck and it makes the truck heavier, which drops fuel economy. The camera work is very jerky and difficult to watch.
Test drove an XLT and Lariat. Purchased the Lariat in the new Azure blue and love it.
The Cactus Green looks good on the Ranger.
Looks good but I prefer my Gray in dark metallic like Carbonized.
I bought one two weeks ago and since then several random strangers have started conversations about it
I love this truck but I don't like those wheels. I don't care for chrome either. They should offer the XLT wheels as an option.

I think I’d take 4x4 2.7l xlt with tech package runs about 45k
Will that include early assistance emergency breaks system ?
@@luarguadalupe5502 comes with safety features. So yes .

For the life of me, I don’t know why they have two shifters yet have no rear vents.
Id rather have a column shifter and more cup holder space
The price needs to come down
They fold in flush and shouldn't interfere.
It's a close choice between the ranger and colorado. The ranger needs sun roof option.
My last 4 trucks had sunroofs, my current truck doesn’t have one. Don’t miss it at all.
When I buy my first Ford Ranger Lariat, I’m going to wrap it in a clear warped to give it a flat textured color and anti paint chip protection
I want to get the Lariat in Chrome package.
does the bedside left and right box interfere with its clearance for plywood?
Other videos I've seen have mentioned that a standard sheet of plywood will lay flat between the wheel wells in the bed.
My dream truck
The competitors have ventilated seats 🤔🤔
Neither of the closest Ford dealers in my area have had a Ranger on the lot in over three years.
It looks like air vents under the seat

My 24 came in over the weekend and i can say is i’m not crazy about it i actually liked my 21 better
What don’t you like?
With a payload of 1500 lbs., that truck is technically a 3/4 ton. BTW, it has a higher available payload capacity than my ‘24 F150 King Ranch.

No early breaks emergency system ? Thank Ú
Does that stop hold tech available on the base xlt?
Yes i just got the base xlt and it has it
That’s a nice feature
I have it on my CRV and glad it’s on the Ranger….possibly my next truck

Auto stop = worn-out starter.
I really like the new rangers
If you don't plan on going off road then save some money and don't get the FX4.
cactus green actually
No actually it's Cactus Gray.
Got a green option for the Raptor, but not the other trims.
@healingenso7923 Yeah, they just call it green, but it's actually gray.

Change the tires back then, if you want.
55k rmv and no early break emergency system ?
