- Join me on an unforgettable fishing trip in the breathtaking Lake District! Over the course of three days, I indulged in fishing, canoeing, wild camping, and wild swimming in the cold waters of the Lake District, making memories that will last a lifetime.
As I trolled by canoe, I caught wild trout and savored the thrill of the catch amidst the picturesque landscapes. I also explored wood processing techniques, bushcraft skills, and fire lighting techniques, including feather sticks and the safest way to create wood shavings for kindling.
As night fell, I set up camp, relying on my bushcraft skills to create a warm and safe environment. I cooked heartwarming meals over the campfire and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the wilderness around me.

Thanks so much! So I'd recommend the triangle blocks in bow and stern of the canoes. If you tip, you'll be able to flip it back easily, plus you'll have more outright buoyancy too. Something else which I still haven't done but would like to do on mine, is to thread a line/rope just under the gunwales in 6 inch or so intervals. You know drilling holes and threading the lines through and then you can clip gear onto it. Would be super handy!

Fantastic video, do you need permission to camp? Or is it just take a chance ?
Hi mate! Wild camping is a bit of a grey area! Obviously you can't camp on private land without permission (except in an emergency). In some cases, wild camping is somewhat accepted if you are doing a multiple days trekking etc say in the Lake District and you need to rest. The most important is to research the location and local laws accordingly and make your own judgement, and finally to have the utmost respect for the land. That means no groups, no littering, no damage to the land, no disruptions. Leave no trace and wild camping codes :-), ideally pick up some rubbish too and make a positive impact as well as setting an example for others. Get out there and enjoy the land - which should be for EVERYONE. Much love. Eze.

I'd love to but I can't pinpoint I'm so sorry!! If I did, most (if not all) spots would be ruined by now. You must go and discover and explore for yourself. You can do it!! It's part of the adventure!!

Hi mate thanks the canoe is my own, I'd rather not say the location as to avoid accidentally promoting it too much (and causing damage to the area) but it's a big one and it looks a bit like a "z" :-)

Are you a pescetarian Eze? Just curious as I've seen you eat vegan cheese and sausages etc but also fish?
Hey buddy! I'm mainly vegan/plant based but I eat the occasional fish and maybe tiny bit of meat a couple of times a month etc on special occasions :-)
@@EzeAdventurer I could easily eat fruit/nuts all day long, especially on trail but don't think I could ever give up beef or fish. Have you tried Biltong for the trail? It's the main food I take to go along with Gorp.

The rules aren't 100% clear on lakes like this, I think best practise is to return fish :-)
