Nice to see a good pan fry and a well treated cedarstrip canoe that has a keel. Looked like a vintage Peterborough or Chestnut but couldnt quite make out the label on the bow. Thanks for sharing!
That was a lot of external canoe shots!.. And they all look great! Those were busy days behind the scenes for sure. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks.
Great looking trip Nicholas. I had a good chuckle at the beginning, when the Loon's were calling. Several years ago, my self and three friends took a self guided trip to Flin Flon, to fish Flin Flon lake. First evening there, as we sat around our fire recalling the fun day we had, the Loons started calling. We didn't know if we should run, or call the police, since it sounded like someone was getting strangled. None of us had ever heard them before. The old camp host that was there about died laughing. He thought our reactions were funny as heck. Beautiful lake, and the fishing was super. We made two other trips back, each time fully prepared for the Loon's. 🤠 Take it easy cowboy. Roger
Thanks Roger! Always looking forward to your comments. As a kid I use to fall asleep to the sound of loons playing on a speaker, but I definitely can see how they would be creepy if you didn't know what they were!
I wish I could get my wife to go somewhere like that. I did right after we got married, but she's just not the outdoors type. Unless it's the beach or lake on a boat. Also I think you should loosen the drag on your reel a little.
Enjoy your videos. The older videos you use a flip top oil lantern , can you tell me who they are manufactured by ? Or any other info about them. Thank again for your time put into these.
I bought reflective line for tying out guy lines etc around camp. It’s easier to step around obstacles that show up, than to get back up next to one that was not easily seen. Just saying. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
That fish was made to fit ur pan amigo 👍🏼👍🏼. Love the old style backpacking stove 🎉!!!! This was an opportunity to impress your girl with your cooking skills😂lol !!!!
GREAT video! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 For a bit of edification, Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb, hence its name. Cottage Pie is made with beef. What brand of canoe are you paddling?
I have no intentions of returning to that side of the lake since the side we left from was actually better, but I was curious and wanted to check the whole thing out
They're everywhere around here sadly, and I also got some cow parsnip on camera too. Was walking through that bush with my arms in the air at times just to avoid it all
There's ALWAYS suppose 2 b new vids coming along u silly rabbit. That's the point of having a channel 😂😅 🥸😂✌️. So this how ya take a girl out on a date up north eh!?? 😮😂😅 !!!! Nice job Nicholas 👍🏼👍🏼
I've been aiming for one a month, but I am hoping to pick it up after wrangling this year. I have access to a new camera which is making things a lot easier 😁

I actually prefer the pan sized ones! I can't stand picking around bones, but for these smaller ones no need to worry. Thanks for watching!
Less than thirty seconds in and I'd know that skillet ANYWHERE, that's Self Reliance Outfitters, good on ya. 🤙🏼
Hey man, where is your backpack from? The canvas one with the external frame.
Watch out for that cow parsnip! 😱
Looks like my stomping grounds in northern NY.

What brand of canoe are you paddling?
I didn't know that, makes sense though! That is an Old Town canoe, made in 1912
Hey would u say ur Hanwag boots are waterproof all the Way up to the top, and hve u tested it?
I'd say so, but I'm not sure for how long
What Camera Do You Use?
what gloves are you using? The dark brown leather ones?
They are some kind of buffalo leather glove. They've lasted me almost 3 years now with minor repairs, pretty crazy
@@wituikbws cool thanks! Keep up the good work, great videos
why throw away the wood poles at the end of the video? why not leave them neatly folded on the shore🤔 30:28

Sorry 2 c y'all have poisoning Hemlock plants.
No worries down here in the American southwest 🤠😍

Se for pescar assim onde eu já pesquei... vai comer o que levou.
Lot of mistakes you made there but with time 😊
It should not be legal to horribly cook a trout like that....
Super dziękuję pozdrawiam serdecznie 🤗👍👏💪🐺🐾🏞️🥇☕🍰💚🙌
