    Bro, loving your videos! Really enjoying your walks and canoeing trips in Scotland. You really need to get yourself a decent 4 season tent, though! I would hate to see you getting caught out with bad weather.

    • @EzeAdventurer
      @EzeAdventurer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there, thanks so much!
      Yeah I know I do agree with you. At the moment I won't go if the weather is likely to bust my tent.. I have been looking at some heavy artillery tents but just don't think I need it at the moment... the extra gear, the weight... but I agree safety wise, it's a consideration...

    • @boarder7446
      @boarder7446 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Eze Adventurer totally agree it's always a trade off with capable gear and weight. I've had 4 season tents wrecked in Scotland. Maybe I should get better at checking weather forecasts before setting off🤣

Build up your adventures, you can do night trips too, it will be super rewarding! Just take your time, choose a good and easy location, plan it well safety wise and give it a shot :-) ! This is your best video to date, absolutely stunning, even in the rain it looked beautiful. Fantastic colours, camera work, content and editing. This is what wild camping and canoeing is all about. Best video I have seen in a long while and features two of my favourite TH-camrs. I’m watching it in front of a nice fire but really I want to be out in my canoe doing this.
    Sorry about your drone, if it was a Mavic Air 2 you need to turn the sensors off as flying over water can mess them up, a low hover can turn into a slow sink.

    • @EzeAdventurer
      @EzeAdventurer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Timsy I appreciate your kind words!! Really was stunning, the colours were on FIRE! Yes despite the rain, it was absolutely beautiful! How cool to watch it by the fire, definitely adds to the senses and connects you even more! The drone actually had been given me warnings for a while and I kept ignoring them... I was pretty stupid about it and it eventually just gave up on me and fell on the Loch!! Was quite a moment, but still it's just material loss vs huge spiritual gain from the trip!!! Hope you can get out there soon bud! Best wishes as always,
      Eze.

    • @timsytanker
      @timsytanker 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EzeAdventurer with your filming and editing skills, how about a Mavic 3? To the average joe like myself it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to upgrade but I reckon you could make full use of its capabilities and add even more wow factor. The only problem I’ve seen with it is some of the features are not available until a firmware update.
      You are going to have a problem beating this video but I bet you will!

    • @EzeAdventurer
      @EzeAdventurer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@timsytanker Oh no... I've watched the video on the DJI website for the Mavic 3... I can't unwatch it.... It's an absolute BEAST! So beautiful.... I'm strongly considering it as a long term investment.... (you know you're in trouble when you start using that word to justify purchases!)

    • @timsytanker
      @timsytanker 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EzeAdventurer he he! I think object tracking is delayed until a firmware update. I’ve seen the optical avoidance on it and it performs brilliantly. The main camera looks an awesome bit of kit, it would have made those colours really pop out. The zoom camera is only a half inch sensor and I’m a bit meh about it.

    Another epic adventure, so inspiring. At the end you mentioned the wind; I was on Lake Bala in Wales a couple of weeks ago and the wind turned against me. I was fighting so hard, almost panicking. Ha, I can laugh now, but at the time hmmm...not fun. Great vid Eze! Looking forward to the next one!

    • @EzeAdventurer
      @EzeAdventurer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks so much bud! I know, the wind really is the most important factor when you're out there. The rain is minor compared to what the wind can do. I totally understand your feeling and had the wind direction been opposite in the last day, we would have been stuck for sure.

    You should be carefull canoeing with strangers.
    Crazy story!
    There was a family once who went rafting and they encountered some sketchy dudes.
    They kinda joined up together and after a while the dude tried to unalive the dad, try to have hormone release with the wife.... prolly also unalive her too...
    But then she was a professional rafter... So she managed to blast the fool while she tipped the raft on purpose.
    The perps name was K.Bacon. I think he died....
