- Here's my unboxing, setup and review of the Ipega 9083 Android Controller/Gamepad. After setup I go through a game of PUBG and configuring the controls. This is followed by some Rayman Adventures which is a game that supports controllers in native "x-input" mode. I also compare this side-by-side with the much more expensive Glap Play controller...

if i open my apps there is no games inside and it shows disconect but its already conected in bluetooth

RTFM, holds up to an 11" tablet, no need to be surprised when it can handle an 8" tablet. Oh, btw; You don't need to "do be careful" you just need to not be a dumbass, read the instructions, and realize that when you unlock spring loaded devices they usually snap open, or closed, very quickly. Doesn't take a genius. Just read the instructions next time, and your fingers will be fine... (pro tip; reading the instructions fully, and familiarizing yourself with the device and it's functions, before doing the review, makes for more insightful, and professional quality, content.

Here ya' go... as you can't even spell "discoNNect" correctly, maybe... just maybe, electronics you need to connect via bluetooth, to Android devices, might just be a little out of your league, but if you insist, Here's help 1) Aps don't "have" games. Some apps ARE games, some apps ARE NOT games. 2) These controllers are for Aps that "support bluetooth gamepads." You need to read the apps description in the app store, and check thev apps "settings" menu, to find out. 3) Once you find an app that is "bluetooth gamepad compatible," you need to "sync" or "synchronize" your gamepad to the device, before launching the app. 4)On your tablet, go into your menu, and select "settings," scroll down, select "bluetooth." Tap "search for devices," then power on your gamepad, do what it's instruction manual says to do, to "synchronize" your device (usually by holding a specific two buttons at the same time, varies by device, your manual will explain). 5) A light on your gamepad will start blinking, when the light turns solid, your tablet will ask you "device found, would you like to pair device," then you tap "yes," or "pair." Now that the controller (gamepad) is "synchronized," exit out of your menu, and launch the app that you are trying to play. 6) Go into the games menu, select "control type" then "gamepad," then exit out of the games menu, to your apps start screen, and tap the A button, or "start" button, on your gamepad. Sometimes tap "start game" on the screen, THEN start using the control, this varies by app/game. The instructions I just gave you will work on 99% of bluetooth gamepads, and 98% of gamepad compatible Android apps... hope that helps...
It's painful to watch how you don't get the logic behind the spring mechanism. Especially, considering this is not the first kind of device that you use.

Hi , just a tip.....adjust the ipega so hat the tablet just does not !!!!! fit...than use the spring side to open and hold the tablet..saves us all 24 minutes of video

Doesn't the one side lock in the other side have a spring cuz if that's the case you just locked it at the wrong spot and that's why it isn't fitting your tablet
It is sliding out because you extended it too far. Try adjusting it to a shorter one, and let the retractable side to secure it

I have this controller and it always disconnects and reconnects when I play (emulator and android games, all the same). What can I do with this?

First game I try to map the buttons on, swordigo, and it just doesn't save, so doesn't work. Typical. Does it work for you with this game? The games excellent BTW.

According to the manufacturer:
5.New Function Upgrade, Support Direct-Play Mode on iOS/ Android devices, Compatible with PUBG, Mobile Legends, Rules of Survival and etc. , Easy to operate, NO APP Needed.
But it's not obvious whether the 9083 would also work with PUBG etc or not... Also the 9083 supports the Nintendo Switch but 9083s doesn't mention it - I don't have one to try it out with either

Question to Android Addicts, how did you change the game modes of the controller. Do you have to unpair and re -pair the controller on the bluetooth, I've tested mine, whenever I tried switching modes, I have to unpair the thing from the bluetooth list of my device. Thanks for the reply in advance.
I just turn the controller off, change mode and then turn it back on. No need to re-pair, it just gets detected straight away 👌

I have d same issue I can’t ply pubg on d Android device
Tip I just use the direct controller mode on the side bottom one, as thats how it came, and it plays fine using the emulators am using. I got it for my tablet , only issue is the thickness gap is too big , no one has a phone or tablet that thick. And am using a 10 inch tablet and i can push it forward and back when its slotted in, which is bit annoying Should be adjustment for that aswell as ur device length.

Hey man, what emulators are you playing? I can't get my 9083s to work on my dolphin and ppsspp emulators, it does not let me remap the buttons. Can you share?
I bought 9083.. but the shooting vplus is not working... What the hell
I suggest when using controllers you need to turn on the gyroscope to help a little with the aiming. I do that since I don't use controllers and aiming with finger is a bit difficult.

how to change bluetooth gamer controller controls?
Hello i have s10 plus from samsung. On Bluetooth the this device is connected but in app it shows disconnected. What does that mean ? And how can i connect with the device? Its really frustrating
This happens to me sometimes as well. Here's what I do to fix it:
Turn on the controller and make sure the LED stops flashing (confirming it's connected)
Load ShootingPlus (it sometimes shows as disconnected)
Now pull down the notification panel, press and hold on Bluetooth to go into Bluetooth settings.
Press on the PG-9083S to disconnect it
Press on the PG-9083S again to connect it
Switch back to ShootingPlus and it should be connected
24 blood minutes mate!!

Hi, does this have real analog sticks or digital ones? (gamepad tester circle test). The app your using doesnt work on many devices and isnt reliable.
Yes this is proper analogue sticks. Gamepad Tester doesn't work with it for some reason so I has to use the ShootingPlusv3 app to test it

@@nickmarangos2475 at 10:40 do you also have the flashing LED on the gamepad? That's the pairing mode. Make sure the switch is on Android Mode too. Then scan for Bluetooth devices - does it see it listed?

I have a google pixel 4 XL and it still does not connect to the Bluetooth. It says that it will automatically connect when you run the app, but it doesn't.
I have tried the 4 different settings.
The LED lights flash and glow as though they are connected, but there is no response from the phone and I still get the red message that says it's not connected.
If you can't help me, I am returning it and giving it a terrible review on EVERY site I can find it on.
You need to pair it in your Bluetooth settings, it won't just pair itself by magic. Once paired, then the app will automatically see it.
hello, i have new ipega 9083s, and have one problem. The right thumb drifting, i tryed unpair etc :( any idea?
same, very strange.
right thumb is stuck to looking up and it still functions when you tried to look left and right but other than that you will be seeing the sky alot.
and my LT is strangely also connected to my select button

How do you play the built in games??
Mate i need help for Ipega PG-9023 i really want to play pubg with it but sadly I can't cause the Shooting Plus V3 you using always detects my Ipega as Device Disconnected even tho i repair it unpair then re pair any other option to assign keys without any payment? I had this on my birthday on 15 and i really want to play it with my pubg
Note: I dont have PC or Computer if you suggest something that needs on PC
Do you have a switch on the side of yours like on mine? Maybe try it in one of the other modes and see if the Shotting Plus V3 detects it. Also, sometimes you need to load Shooting Plus V3 first, then go to bluetooth, disconnect and reconnect the controller for V3 to detect it properly

Can the shooting plus support ipega 9123?
I have paired my 9083s to my phone correctly. ShootinPlusV3 recognizes the device. When I open mame4droid and I go to the section to configure the controller, it doesn't recognize it. I tried both Android direct and gamepad mode. Do you have any suggestions?
I've just tried it myself and it's working fine for me. Make sure your iPega is in the Gamepad mode (gamepad icon on the switch. Also make sure you turn the controller off and then back on when you switch modes. LED 3 should be lit). Once connected, go into MAME4droid and click:
OPTION -> Settings -> Input -> External controller -> Define keys -> Player 1
Once there, select each direction/button and assign it to your iPega. For me, when I did it each input was recognised and registered successfully (you could tell the default setup of "0: DPAD_UP" etc. went to "1: DPAD_UP" after I re-defined it - so whatever 'controller 0' was, wouldn't have worked by default).
Once you've defined your keys it should all start working. Let me know how you get on.
PS My "Mode" in the app was set to "Controller Autodetection" ( OPTION -> Settings -> Input -> External controller -> Mode)

@@AndroidAddicts I tried again and now it works. I had to remove the device, delete the data of ShootinPlusV3 (I don't know if it was useful but just to be sure) and pair it again. And be sure to select the GamePad mode. Now it works like a charm!!!

It's about 25.5cm (255mm) fully opened up. That's not 100% accurate as I just used a 15cm ruler to measure it but it's certainly can open up at least that much!

Make sure it's in the iPhone mode on the switch on the left-hand grip and then, I assume you would install the ShootingPlus V3 app from the App Store

Are you using the Ipega app to map controls? If you're having no luck then try using a different mapping program like Mantis: th-cam.com/video/kGA_3NoFnXQ/w-d-xo.html

Not too great. It's quite thin so is slightly sharper to use than the Glap controller for example. The dpad on the iPEga 9139 is more comfortable to use: th-cam.com/video/BsYUHtJA48k/w-d-xo.html
Is it true that somebody uses this gamepad to play on freefire, pubg, fornite or any play Store game multiplayer the device will be banned??? Ive heard bad comments about.

Hello, no one has reported they've been banned in any of my videos (and I haven't been banned) so I think you're pretty safe. The difference with the 9083s is that it also supports iOS devices.

There are "controller-like" handles that are "ban-free"
So far the Octopus app that maps the keys are banned but the shooting plus that ipega uses doesn't. I even use the ipega 9116 to use keyboard and mouse. Still woking until now.

I guess there's nothing wrong with your skill. It's the terrible dead zones of the sticks that make precise aiming nearly impossible.

No it doesn't
The side you pinched you finger on is the spring that holds the device. The thing you are locking should lock a bit smaller than you device so the spring side holds it in place.....
UPDATE: I watched the "Updated Video" and you figured it out. I've liked both videos since you eventually figured it out.

No I didn't have any issues with it. Try deleting the device from your Bluetooth devices and re-paring it

I've not been banned yet but obviously I can't guarantee 100% it won't happen in the future. I believe they're introducing gamepad support natively in the future which will mean anyone can use a gamepad with no issues
Use the direct play method. and don't use v3 or any overlay apps

yep tested on Pubg and Codm. you just need to have developer options on, usb de bugging on. and for the set up screen of controls of pubg or cod or any games customizable UI., you have turn on the touches. I think it works best for snapdragon devices.

hi can I use this for cod mobile on my s9plus?
I can't get the left analog stick to work in COD for some reason so I would say it's not fully supported yet. Everything else appears to work OK though
OK I've managed to get it to work using the Panda Gamepad Pro app - just not with the native one that comes with the gamepad...

You can't if it's at the top/bottom of the phone, you'd have to use Bluetooth instead

Try downloading Gamepad Tester from the Play Store and see if it's responding properly to your inputs

Switch it to Gamepad mode (not Android) and turn the controller off. Then turn it back on and see if it works in the tester app. It should be seen as a standard X-input controller

Send it back under warranty and get a replacement. There should be no drifting with any manufacturer's controller out the box

Have you got the switch in the right position on the side of the gamepad? If so, it sounds like you might have a faulty one so I would send it back for a replacement.

The gamepad was actually connected since I could control icons on desktop but not the games. Moreover the app said "Device Disconnected". I tried and tried again then I gave up and returned it to Amazon.it (I'm from italy). Now I still want to get one similar product but what if then it doesn't work again? 😣🤔

If you are having issues with Shootingprov3 just install older version of app, for example ShootingPlus V3_vv3.0.1.195_apkpure.com.apk works like charm for me,

What key mapper did you use?
It's called ShootingPlus V3
Lock the controler, then it will give you a secure fit
you have to utilize and balance the left side o the controller to the center, then lock the right side.
Can you play all games with this gamepad or only the ones listed on that app??
