One thing that people don’t talk about is getting rid of toxic relationships. I ended my long term relationship and my whole entire body including hair is flourishing. Plus I grew closer to god.
Makes sense because stress can cause hair to break and shed quicker than it’s supposed to …if a relationship is toxic and causes you stress get rid of it ✌🏾
Great tips per usual! I’m at mid-back and am aiming for waist length. I was under processed my last relaxer at the salon. After like 5 poor salon experiences I’m over them. Going to try to correct and relax myself from now on. It’s not my very first time but I’m still nervous because I’ve come so far! Pray for me girl! 😅🙏🏽
You got this!! Remember, the most important step is protecting your previously relaxed hair. I’ve been self relaxing for several years and if you have watch my “ relaxer routine” video, you can see my technique is FAR from perfect lol. But I was able to STILL retain length by coating and protecting my hair. In that video I used the optimum protectant and petroleum. I now use castor oil to base my scalp and coat the hair. Feel free to reach out with any questions. Good luck!! ❤️
I used the Affirm relaxer for dry and itchy scalp. You have to buy steps 1, 3, &4 separately. Only the relaxer and activator came in my kits. However all the steps protects your hair from start to finish. It’s incredibly. I am so happy.
I’m new here, glad your video’s were recommended! I like how short your videos are and you share photos and before and after. A good video would be how you keep your hair presentable after working out without heat.
Yessss. I used to have horrible dandruff, as soon as i started adding oil(coconut and Jamaican black castor) to my scalp while i deep condition my scalp is clear and looks so healthy
Thanks so much for the tips! Your hair is so beautiful and full!! I recently started adding tea tree oil to my scalp oils and it's been a big help. I'm going to follow your tip of DAILY scalp massages, instead of once a week. I like washing bi weekly as well and I've been at mid back length, just grazing waist for awhile. I think with a little more love and care I can get to full waist length.
Hi Ianna! Thank you so much for all the tips and info that you always share. Which dry shampoo is it that you recommended? I don’t see it in the products list. Thanks so much! Defina ❤
Hello! Thanks so much for watching. Completely forgot to link it. It’s called foxybae dry shampoo -Dirty gal. 😂 it’s the only one that didn’t leave that white tint to my hair.
@@IannaYvonne Ok great, I will go check now. Love seeing my fellow relaxed girlies with long hair and I am currently looking to try new products. Thank you.
You and your hair are sooooooooo beautiful❤ can you talk more about styling and the length retention portion. Are there more tips regarding the ends and keeping them healthy? Thank you for showing relaxed hair can be healthy and long
Hello. Thank you so much ❤️ I will definitely post more styling videos and tips for length retention. I do have a video on my channel titled “Gain and retain length”. You may find that helpful. I go into much more detail about length retention in that video.
Thank you for your response. I did go watch the suggested video. Those are very helpful tips. I’m definitely not one who gets braids or weaves or wears wigs, just not something I’ve ever done. I also probably will not start those things now. I live in a dry climate so keeping my hair and scalp moisturized is very challenging. I’m also not good at styling hair. I’ve been going to the salon more and more again to have it curled. I usually wash it and have them curl it. At this point I don’t put any heat on my hair outside of going to get it styled and when I get my relaxer. My hair is a little past shoulder length. I’m not good at buns and ponytails. Also it doesn’t seem long enough to make cute buns and ponytails like yours 😔 I’m so frustrated 🥺
Hello. Yes. I use daily with scalp massage when it’s close to my wash time. When my hair is freshly washed and styled , I use every 2-3 days. I have a TH-cam short on my channel where I show how use unlay when my hair is freshly styled if your interested. Thank you for watching!
Can you share the leave in co dti9 wr and the two hair oils. One for the ends and the other one for the entire hair. Also, can you share the protective product to out on hair when drying it.
It was initially sold at my local beauty supply store. Unfortunately the beauty supply store recently closed and it is now available only online. It was nice being able to avoid shipping cost 😩Thank you for watching!
Hello. I use the OLLY hair and woman’s multivitamins. I also use collagen peptides (powder). I linked them in the description box below the video. Thank you for watching!
Hello. Thank you for watching! It depends on what oils you’re using. Essential oils( like tea tree oil) MUST be mixed in a carrier oil (fatty oil). It should not be applied directly to the scalp or it WILL cause irritation. What oils are you using? That may be the issue. You may also have an allergy to a specific oil.
@@IannaYvonne Hi and thanks for responding. Maybe I could be allergic to a specific oil. I have tried so many different oils .The two latest is the Mane Choice growth oil and the Haitian Black Castor Oil by Kreyol Essence
Hello. I’ve only seen them sell out once before but it was restocked with a day or two. I would check back. If you’re desperate ..and need something today, the mielle rosemary mint oil is the only second option I would use. It’s also lightweight, not greasy and growth promoting with the rosemary …. But less product than unlay and it’s not completely all natural. Thank you for watching ❤️
Are you the woman who created the “baggy method”? You look really familiar like one of the og hair TH-camrs I used to watch as a kid. Glad you came across my feed again.

100% Cold Press Argan oil
Ugh why is it so expensive? I have 1 bottle left and I just stare at it and not use because I don't want to pay for it

I am natural, and wear braids most of the time. What do you suggest dear?
She has a video on braid maintenance and moisturization + washing. It's really helpful especially if you keep braids most of the time.
Great video! Can you list all the products you use on your hair? Shampoo conditioner etc.

Can I ask, the Moroccan Oil leave in spray, do you spray it on daily?
Hello. Thank you for watching ! It can be used daily, however I personally use 2-3 times a week.
@@IannaYvonne thank you so much. I’m a new subscriber so looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Do you also blowdry after applying the leave in or do you leave the hair moist? @@IannaYvonne
Where do you get your relaxer? It’s hard to find.
What do you do in between wash days? Cause moisture in the ceiling makes my hair difficult to work with and my hair gets really dry.
How do you use the Unlay spray? Do you spray it on your scalp everyday and leave it in?
