Great info on injector numbering as id have assumed no1 was the crank pulley end. Now i know its the gbox end 👍hope mine comes out as easily as that one did!
Sorry buddy bad camera angle haha. Can’t quite remember the fault code tbh. I’ll have a look on the scanner tomorrow as it might have it saved on there
I found a few second hand injectors online that says it fits peugeot 3008 and volvo, ford citroen but it has a different part number than the one you have in your hand(the new replacement) so I was wondering if they fit my peugeot 3008? Thanks
It’s all down to if you want aftermarket injectors or genuine. They can very between 100-300 an injector. Plus labour would be around 1-2 hours so all down to the parts cost
So you can get a diagnostic machine and scan for codes and see voltage to the injectors. Best way to test an injector is by doing a diesel leak off test. Which will show which one is over fueling or under fueling
@@acdc690 if you’ve got an engine management light on or a code stored it will give indication to a faulty injector. If he’s telling you to go to a specialist he’s more than likely not that clued up in that department or he just doesn’t want to take it on
@@acdc690 yeah so kwik fit are a fast fit centre doubt they would get involved in a job like that.. they like nice easy work which they can push out quick. Take it to an independent garage or a main dealer, also helps to read reviews of garages before taking your car in to see if they are decent. It’s strange that some engines they decide to number them backwards but I’m glad this helped!
It most certainly helped because i was checking No.4 connector before, without knowing it. Do you know of any free downloads for the service manual?
Hi ,does the new injector need to be coded ?
Yes it does
@@owensautotipsThank you for the fast reply ! 😀
@sergiuvirag6798 no problem there is another video on my channel of part 2
Hi mate, what did you have for stored faults?
Hello mate, if you look at the comments I have a pinned one for part 2 of the video which shows the faults at the end
@@owensautotips Yes,but i don't see all from that error 😅🫣

I couldn’t tell you if they would or not, you would have to cross reference the part numbers on a parts system
Hello mate. How much does it cost to change injectors on 3008 2011 1.6hdi?

@@owensautotips shame it's that far otherwise would come over to get it done on my peugeot.
@@dawidstefanski9597 no problem buddy, feel free to like and share the channel! All the help is appreciated
I have been told by my garage he thinks it's the fuel injector but he said I need to get a diagnostic test for the code

So a normal diagnostic test won't pick the fault up he said I need to take it to a specialist who will find the dault
