Drew Brees left us with a 1:25 on the clock with good field position. The game may have been over if they were pinned deep and I wouldn't have trusted our defense to hold him.
I'd only say it's a good call only if it was a 4th and 1 or a 4th and 2. 4th and 5 was a bit too long to risk it.

For the defender you can push and shove for 5 yards, he pulled is why it got flagged. As for the offensive push off for the touchdown it's only a flag if he fully extends his arm

When is NFL going to make referees accountable for bad calls? I'm not just speaking out about this game, but in general the referees have been horrible. They are just deciding game after game. It's not about them, it about the players.

@@hazardous0887 the refs are part ofthe big money plan to push newer teams to the top because old teams decline and new teams rise..it's who the fans are wanting see..nfl has trillions in revenue at stake ..the refs leaned it to the saints 4 times without that they would not have won.
I think they made the calls that the NFL wanted them to make. This game is a joke now. In terms of outcomes being chosen by the NFL instead of what happens on the field.
The most important play of the game was at 0:45 when the Saints were 3rd and 20. Getting the 1st set them up for an easy touchdown. If the defense had prevented this easy to defend 1st down, the Steelers wouldn’t have had to drive the ball down the field with only 1:25 on the clock and risk game-changing mistakes (and a game losing mistake was made). Btw the Steelers did play really well this game, it was just a few bad decisions by the defense (cough Joe Haden) and the some really bad calls. Now we gotta pray for the Browns lol.

What a fun year to watch. After this year being somewhat disappointing it really makes you appreciate the 2018 season so much more. Granted we were plagued with injuries and Covid so I’m optimistic about next year. I whole heartedly believe if the PI was called in the NFC championship game we would’ve gone on to win the Super Bowl.

Also two crucial poor calls at the dome favoring the home team... not the first time or will be the last. I’m not a Steelers fan but the refs biased calls are well known throughout the season. Steelers was close though, so the Bears shouldn’t be afraid playing there.

Big Ben sure did not look old tonight, and he sure played good on the road in a tough place for any team to play. And Antonio Brown is a stud . Double covered on about every single play and he still torched the saints. He had
14 catches for 185 yds and 2TD. The Steelers lost and I truly feel for them. Because they got screwed again on game changing calls. They definitely hurt themselves with the 2 fumbles, but again to loose a game with so much on the line for both teams. The officiating continues to really affect outcomes of games and not just this game. It’s across the board. The officials need to be held accountable for mistakes made just as players and coaches are also judged by their performance on the field. Go Steelers I still believe

@@carter8292 I played football from age 4-17, I was decent and it's a guarantee I'd be in the NFL if I had a little more talent and if I knew to be aggressive every year I played, you don't have to be an NFL player to have an opinion on how a play should've went, if Juju had just went down he wouldn't have fumbled and they would've had a couple more opportunities to get closer for an easier field goal to send the game to OT a few other things, in SB 50 if I was Cam Newton I would've dove for the football instead of jumping back, SB LI after Julio made that sideline catch at the 22 yard line if I was calling plays I would've called run plays every play after instead of calling a pass play to get knocked outta field goal range and have to punt instead of putting the game away, and if I was Brett Favre in the 09 NFC Championship I would've ran for a few yards to get in field goal range to win instead of throwing across my body resulting in an interception which let the Saints win

@@zincpvp I know I don't I was just sayin what I'd do in that position given that I've played football before, I know how to play football and if I was an NFL player I guarantee I'd be one of the best and I'd give 100% on every play, if I was a qb I wouldn't throw too many picks because I would know when to throw the ball away or just take a sack, if I was on defense I would always have awareness of where the ball is and go and make a tackle, again I'm not in the NFL but that doesn't mean I can't say what I'd do on plays that should've had a different outcome, once again Juju took a risk on that play and it didn't work and are you telling me that him just going down instead of fighting for extra yards would've been wrong? Steelers were taken this game from the refs at least two fumbles from the saints we recovered and at least 10 points from crappy pass interference calls on joe haden
Saints were given 21 points by bad calls (Two Haden PIs and a Saints fumble called incomplete) and the Steelers likely had 3 points taken away (illegal contact instead of pass interference before Juju's fumble).
To be fair the way that juju was tacked it would’ve been tough to hold on to the bal

This game was a great game . As a Steelers fan it hurt but this showed me if my boys played like this all that season we would’ve definitely been in the playoffs
