This was almost exactly like our introduction to Rome, getting lost for almost 4 hours the first night looking for our Air B&B. The crowds, the sounds, stumbling into the famous landmarks by accident. . ..Truly an overwhelming city, I can not ever get enough. I would go back there tomorrow. Thanks for the memories!
Unfortunately, that being true, you also hear canned sounds of chatter of the crowds, whose voice are always consistently the same ? Is this CANNED CROWD TRACKS ? @Prowalk Tours This was not a very expensive video to produce, now was it ? A bit boring and the sound is very repetitious; poor, repetitive sound almost all the way through. Perhaps they should find a good mandolin player or a classical guitarist to help; they did scan to the sax player. Peculiarly, it appears the "same exact sounds" of CROWD CHATTER continue all the way through the video until the Sax is heard ? We know from "listening " to the History Channel (the authentic one) all of the info being displayed as text of Captions, too.We can even hear the "same" voices speaking out above the others too, ("Monica , Monica ?" example) FIX YOUR SOUND you have the technology to do that. It's so great to se people enjoying life...the contrast between Rome and here in Hong Kong is amazing. We're still very restricted and have to be masked up pretty much at all times away from home. We only intended to check out the preview, but ended up watching almost the whole walk, even skipping the TV evening news, which never happens! Thanks for another great walk, Isaac.
@@Podzzy The vaccine has worked in Hong Kong, too, but we're still the only "free" city in the world that requires seven-days quarantine for all arrivals and mandatory mask-wearing outdoors. People coming home to Hong Kong after vacations in Europe/USA/UK/Southeast Asia can't believe how HK is still living in 2020.
@@nebbs But I know that the percentage of vaccinated in Hong Kong is very low, and the Chinese vaccine has an effectiveness that is not comparable to the American ones used here in Europe. I believe these are the main reasons for the restrictions.
@@Podzzy Actually the vaccination rate here in HK is over 90% and most people have taken the Pfizer Biontech vaccine. It's only mainland China where only the Chinese vaccines are available. Sadly the HK government is tied down to the unrealistic zero-covid mandate of the Mainland right now so we're stuck in the twilight zone. I've been here 35 years and am planning to leave, like most of my friends.

I've been there around the same time (end of May). It's such a beautiful and amazing city. Unbelievable buildings and places ("piazzas"), friendly people and of course fantastic food 😊

We enjoy your videos. And unlike a few poor lost souls, your captions explaining the history is fantastic! By all means, don't stop doing that. I've seen a few others that do walking tours that have also started doing captions(Walking Alice) and I do it in my short videos as well, so keep up the great work! :)

I stayed in Trastevere for a month last December, and I can highly recommend that location to anyone wanting to visit Rome. You can literally walk to everything.
@@nocapnobs7845 It wasn't very cold at all. I would go out around 9am each morning and it was around 8C and then would warm up each day to around 13-15C. I had lots of sunny days, and only a few rainy days. And the best part was no crowds at the most popular sites.

@@Mrmw3k1d Anything popular you want tours of (Vatican, Colosseum etc) get booked in ASAP as they do fill up quickly! Be careful of beggars and ignore if possible, it can be a distraction tactic to pickpocket. Klass restaurant not far from the Trevi had beautiful food, highly recommend. Some places will get booked up for evening meals so if you want to go somewhere specific, again try and book in advance. And the biggest tip is just to have fun and enjoy, it really is a beautiful city :)
No question of that the movie is so smooth, sharp and clear. And thanks for your hard works in it. Except the new cam was able to provide high quality pictures and high frame rate, the performance of the stabiliser was also pretty good too, which model you had used , pls advise.

It was indeed an excellent trek. Was there a festival that night or are the crowds that dense EVERY night? Also, not to be weird, but where are the restrooms? Seems like a lot of bladders meandering around there.
Hey, glad you enjoyed it. No, no special event. Just people out to be out. There are very few public restrooms. Usually we just go to a cafe and buy and espresso and use the bathroom there. No other option really. ...unless you want to walk into a hotel lobby.

Rome is beautiful! Rome is a city where you never feel like you're a stranger and I lived my time there. On a side note the girl in the short green dress in frame 4:31 reminds me of my beloved wife; very short, slim, has long hair, and damn cute! I hope her SO is as fortunate as I am.

I stayed in Trastevere for a month last December, and I can highly recommend that location to anyone wanting to visit Rome. You can literally walk to everything.
did you get an airbnb? how cold was it in december? for reference i'm in Toronto so -10C here.
@@nocapnobs7845 It wasn't very cold at all. I would go out around 9am each morning and it was around 8C and then would warm up each day to around 13-15C. I had lots of sunny days, and only a few rainy days. And the best part was no crowds at the most popular sites.

@@Mrmw3k1d Anything popular you want tours of (Vatican, Colosseum etc) get booked in ASAP as they do fill up quickly! Be careful of beggars and ignore if possible, it can be a distraction tactic to pickpocket. Klass restaurant not far from the Trevi had beautiful food, highly recommend. Some places will get booked up for evening meals so if you want to go somewhere specific, again try and book in advance. And the biggest tip is just to have fun and enjoy, it really is a beautiful city :)

No question of that the movie is so smooth, sharp and clear. And thanks for your hard works in it. Except the new cam was able to provide high quality pictures and high frame rate, the performance of the stabiliser was also pretty good too, which model you had used , pls advise.

It was indeed an excellent trek. Was there a festival that night or are the crowds that dense EVERY night? Also, not to be weird, but where are the restrooms? Seems like a lot of bladders meandering around there.
Hey, glad you enjoyed it. No, no special event. Just people out to be out. There are very few public restrooms. Usually we just go to a cafe and buy and espresso and use the bathroom there. No other option really. ...unless you want to walk into a hotel lobby.

Rome is beautiful! Rome is a city where you never feel like you're a stranger and I lived my time there. On a side note the girl in the short green dress in frame 4:31 reminds me of my beloved wife; very short, slim, has long hair, and damn cute! I hope her SO is as fortunate as I am.
