It has indeed! It’s taken about two months in total, but obviously I had to build myself another shed in that time as well... Really happy with how the shed (and the video) has turned out.
Greater video. I have two concerns. First is freezing temperatures during winter. Are you planing to heat it whole winter? Second is safety. You got there some serious collection and doors doesn't look to be super safe.
I’ll more than likely use a small oil filled radiator to keep it at 10-15 degrees and then turn it up when I go and work in there. It’s only a small space so it’ll won’t take much to heat! The door is pretty sturdy BUT I have taken quite a few precautions with regards to security and safety, don’t you worry 😉

It truly has been! Unfortunately a recent house move has meant it has been passed on to another owner who I’m hoping it will make equally as happy. On the plus side though, look out for a video soon where I’m going through a similar process with my new garage!
Thanks! There were moments when I thought to myself ‘there’s no way this is going to work and be practical’ but it’s worked! Super happy with how it’s all turned out.
Excellent video, I've recently moved to a house with a detached garage and have plans to make a hobby corner. This is great inspiration. FYI luke sent me 👍
Looks great pal! I was gazumped on a house that had a big garage I was hoping to use for the same thing, we are buying the house next door instead which doesn’t have a garage but room for a medium sized shed. This inspires me to do the same thing. Can’t wait to see more videos coming soon. Maybe some conversion ones, loved the Rohan one you did on TTG.
I did something similar. I knocked down my wooden conservatory that was about 30 years old and rotten, I build a large extension which gave my sons a play room and a hobby room for myself. Best thing I ever did to improve my home.
Great shed that mate, me personally would have used some old scaffold boards as a bench and shelving, but I would be stripping and engine on it lol 😂 great tho pal keep it up.!
Hi Benjamin thank you for this video, I want to build a model making shed in my garden for my 1/6 scale hobby. So coming across this wonderful video has been brilliant. I’m not sure how big your shed is but it’s outstanding. I’d like to wire mine up for the pc and 3 d printers as well but top of the garden I think it’s going to be expensive. Love the idea of book cases to store my collection of modelling books. But have no idea how to organise thanks for this Benji
Thanks so much for your kind words! I’m still absolutely loving my shed although trying to film in there is becoming increasingly frustrating due to lack of space. Keep your eyes peeled as I will be upgrading from the shed in (hopefully) the not too distant future!

What a great informative video how do you manage in the summer months it gets really hot in my garden shed and I don't have any insulation for me the worry would be that my paints and maby even some of the thinner plastic on the miniatures wouldn't fair very well
I’ve now had it up for a couple of summers and in all honesty it’s not been too bad. I think the insulation helps keep both the heat in during the winter and keeps the heat out during the summer so it’s a win-win. I do most of my work during the evening and I’m able to open the window or leave the door open if it feels a bit too toasty and to get some air movement. There’s also a ‘lock’ on the window so I can keep it just ajar enough whilst still being secure to give a little ventilation throughout the day. None of my models seem to have fared badly - even my resin minis that can get a bit bendy in the heat are still looking ok! Hope that helps!
@@BenjisHobbies thanks for the quick reply I think I shall invest in a similar setup to yours do you no roughly how much you spent just trying to get an idea as my shed is 12x8
