Man, I had the same Dainsleif model printed back in 2017, and I had it done in PLA plastic, not resin. The parts-separation is great (thanks to its designer, SoBanANA), so I had the red parts of the Dainsleif printed in red, then I painted the rest with acrylics. The result is acceptable, but the actual grit of the print was too big, so without sanding it had quite a rough texture. Of course, I did all this before Bandai even announced the P-Bandai ones, so I feel that I should have saved up some to get the offical versions; nonetheless, this model works in my collection, so I ended up passing on the P-Bandai Arianrhod Fleet set. Also, I too noticed that the hole in the Dainsleif was the PERFECT diameter for a toothpick, so I literally dunked a pick in black paint and slapped it in the muzzle of the Dainsleif XD Oh yeah, and I removed/omitted the secondary ball-joint since it was too loose for me. The main ball joint is more than sufficient, and will prevent drooping over time. And great, fun little shooting scene at the end there!
I am currently working on a replacement inner frame for the NG 1/100 Gundam Gusion kit so that you can build both the Gusion and Rebake from one kit. I will put it up on thingiverse when I have ironed out all the bugs.
Oddly enough, the P-Bandai IBO combo pack that comes with two Dainsleif Grazes would've been cheaper. Though if you're really into customizations, then yes, a 3D printer is an incredibly useful asset.
Careful when scaling parts that need an assembly. Each part that has to go together needs a certain clearance between pegs and holes and when you scale a part that clearance is scaled too so there's a chance the parts will be to tight or too loose. Also with resin printers just make sure they are properly ventilated as they can be toxic. I love 3D printing but only used FDM with solid plastic filament, never a resin printer. Resin printers can get to an incredibly small layer height too so if you want more detail and don't mind the longer wait just drop down the later height as low as it'll go for a part with minimal clean up.
I hope 3D modelling for printing picks up in the gunpla community. A lot of potential for not just creators, but consumers too. I personally would pay to have the backpack for Haman's Schnee Weiss since there isn't a kit that has something like that to customize and fit into a regular Rick Dom.

Not me thinking of getting one to make my own ibo mobile worker army because the option kits are either out of stock or $70
I've had some ideas for custom IBO Gundams, but first I'd want to have an accurate 3D file of the Gundam Frame from the HG line to pre-fit the new armor to. Wouldn't want to end up wasting material printing parts that don't fit after all.
Also, mirror that Dáinsleif and print another one and you could have *Double Dáinsleif*.
Would like to see some custom armor for 30 minute missions
3D print the inner-frame like the RGs or somethin. :) man that's so cool, Mecha!
Its fine, bandai 3d printed some of the mg wing too.
Now you can print a face piece for your pg unicorn gundam and paint it white.
The printer seems like it could have been tuned just slightly better, but it goes to show how detailed Resin Printers are.
3D print spaceships, there's a full 1/144 scale drake battle ship from gundam seed there on thingiverse
He is having too much fun in this video and its hilarious 😂
