    For you struggle on removing support without dipping them in warm water, what i do is soak them in room temperature water a few minutes or longer depending of the thickness. Works well on water washable resin before curing. The resin is not brille, still a bit flew and soft, cold/room temp water dont alter the print and i get less support mark then after curing or warping with warm water.

  • @gregorychard
    @gregorychard 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    G'day Jessie
    I've an Anycubic Photon Mono resin printer with a build volume of 160x80x65.
    When I do multiple different files, I use fusion 360 and make a frame around different files in the volume of 155x79x64mm. I connect all the files by a 0.5 tubes to each other and to the frame.
    I export this file as a whole job and place it in my slicer. I then make a 1.5mm bed on the plate and add supports where needed.
    With my wham bam plate and the supports the height is 160mm.
    The print takes about 7 hours, but it's faster than the combined time print time if you print them separately. Also you use about 50% less supports compared to single prints
    to the plate, thus less supports are needed.
    Also the clean up is quicker and easier.

    @Uncle Jessy Hey, I got a question for you pertaining to cleaning the miniatures with IPA. I was originally wondering if you had a mixture of water, IPA, and resin. Allowed it to settle before then putting it into the freezer. The pure IPA shouldn't freeze where as the water should. But I don't know how the resin would react or interact with the water in this method. I tried searching online both google and youtube and couldn't find any one having tried that method. But, alternatively I did find out that people use pure sea salt (no iodine at all) in 70% IPA to remove the water from the IPA solution. The sea salt makes the water more dense and will cause it to settle to the bottom of the container. I still have not found anyone having tried use this method either. But it seems you might want to do this early in the cleaning cycle? I don't have a printer yet but thought it would be neat to hear from you on these ideas in case you may want to give it a try? Thanks again for making all of these great videos. I am looking forward to getting a printer.
