    Great video, the trend of tiny keyboards is really strange to me considering the whole point of them is to save space but most people put tiny keyboards on massive desks. Either way whatever you prefer it doesn't really matter, but there should be the option of both for everything.
    For me, Corsair K100 is like 80% perfect but it only has speed switches so it needs browns. K95 Platinum XT is perfect but doesn't have the new features of the K100

      I agree with what you said about the K100, even though Cherry Silver Speeds have been very good to me throughout the years, however, in regards to the desk space and smaller keyboards, the main reason for that is the *wide* amount of space you would have for your mouse. It's especially useful for gamers who damn-near swing their mouse all around the desk when playing FPSs and things like that.

      @apem2kilo879 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what I used to see in some techies forum. In one of the Discord server of a local tech reviewers I join for example, many have asked about the full size recommendation but sadly they rarely give one, either because they don't know about recommended full-sized boards even though there's a lot of them ranging from cheap but good quality OEM ones to the ones from expensive big brand or because they simply prefer smaller form factor with separate numpad because they don't use numpad often, only for work so it's better to have a separate one.
      And yeaa they always justify the reason of why smaller form factor will always be better which might not be everyone's favourite. This kind of treatment often make someone who asked for recommendation to flee from the forum without even saying thank you as far as I've seen, probably because they feel asking for those people are useless at the end (I guess?)

    • @HappyBeezerStudios
      @HappyBeezerStudios ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes I really feel like the odd one, because I have requirements that go against what people say.
      I prefer cabled headphones for the simplicity and "it just works" usability, I still have my DVD drive in use on a frequent basis, I use my numpad almost on a daily basis, and I have big hands, so all these tiny sub 70g mice are just uncomfortable to use.

    Thank you so much for this video 🙏. I understand why many people are into smaller-sized keyboards but it pains me to have such a small selection of premium full-size keyboards when the extra keys come in handy with work and school. I also wish that bigger companies like Razer, Corsair, & Logitech would consider making 1800-layout boards with a full case (Like The KBDFans ODIN or Corsair's K65 RGB Mini). I'm _preeettyyy_ sure the majority of gamers are ready to move on from floating-key designs. Not saying they have to get rid of RGB lighting, but I think an actual enclosed case would make a better aesthetic these days.

    Can I ask a question? The Asus Strix Flare II - I notice that in your review the LED backlight was all blue. In all the advertising for the keyboard, it is always shown with a rainbow LED backlight effect, and nothing is said about the ways in which the backlighting can be changed. I'm assuming you can alter/program the backlighting to the effect you want? Can you confirm this? For example - I'd light to have an even green backlight across the whole board. There's the Royal Kludge RK100 (and the RK 100 Pro with a CNC aluminium milled case), the Epomaker TH98 (with a vintage two-tone colorway PLUS accented keycaps), the Akko 3098 series (with a handful of color options and accented keycaps), as well as my personal favorite, the LTC NB1041 Nimbleback which I can't say enough good things about after modding with PBT XDA profile keycaps and Gateron Inks V2 black switches (which now sounds a tad thockier than the Ducky One 3 that you reviewed in this video). There are a few more but I am really looking forward to part two where hopefully you can cover these other keyboards and some of the highlights featured with each of them. Thank you for the video!

    Tempted by some of these boards, but as someone who spends an ungodly amount of time in front of a computer for work, I really wish someone would make a mechanical version of the Microsoft Sculpt Ergo.
    There are some options, but they’re either riddled with gimmicks, have an exorbitant price tag near $400+, or don’t have a logical form factor for a productivity setup.
    After using something as comfortable as the Sculpt Ergo with a tented and angled board, you really feel the strain on your wrists and forearms from standard keyboards. Same goes for their Sculpt Ergo mouse (though the wireless tech is absolute trash if not in direct line of sight to the receiver). Alice/Arisu boards get close, but don’t achieve the same level of usability and comfort.

    that first RoG board, does it have standard keycap widths? I am looking for full size with raised switches, media controls, and ideally hot swap that I can use my custom caps on, but some boards (esp with inset keys) are too tight and make them rub so I want a raised board to hopefully avoid that

    I am a Video Editor and gamer and i am looking for a keyboard to do both while using 2 different computers.
    1 for working and 1 for playing.
    I was thinking of getting the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro to do just that. Connect it via cable with the gaming PC and switch to wireless mode while editing on the workstation.
    If i have it always connected with cable on the gaming PC will it work when i wanna edit on the workstation or will i have to physically unplug it from the gaming Pc in order to work with the workstation?

    Own a wooting two HE, and its not a joke when people say its a gamechanger for tac shooter gaming. To stop pressing the key as soon as my finger is lifted, as opposed to the key stopping being pressed after my finger is lifted, and it depressed the actuation point.
    Game changer for strafe shooting in valorant and cs go.
    Every video about strafe shooting tells you that you need to get the timing right. but with this keyboard you dont need timing because you are immediately accurate as soon as you let go of the key.

    I personally thing that the Keychron Q6 is the best this years.
    -Extremely well built and premium full Aluminium shell.
    -Came with decent switches, stabiliser with hot swap.
    -Thick PBT keycaps with good looking font.
    -RGB
    -Gasket mount.
    -Have a nob option if you want.
    - Require minimal moding, if any.
    -Not very expensive compare to other gaming option from brand like Corsair, Razer, Logitech,...

    Thanks especially for this. I'm a gamer who sets up their (left) hand on the Num keypad (for lots of very good reasons, one of which is that if you are WASD your mouse hand is stretching and that's going to give you back and neck problems) and also an audio transcriber who types for a living, all of which amounts to: needs the full keyboard including full Num keypad. I tried the 'gaming keypads' just for your one hand, so far they seem to be uniformly anti-ergonomic and non-anthropometric (my industrial design degree tells me this). So thanks, this is an excellent start on my long quest (that definitely won't include Razer; I was given a new one to try and it's rubbish - packed full of stupid gimmicks, a volume knob I don't need and which doesn't work anyway, and FRAGILE switches that shatter if you look at them the wrong way - compared to the 'legacy' one I still have that dates back to when Razer were pioneers in the mechanical keyboard realm, that still works beautifully after, what, 15 years or something?).

      I almost bought that one since I loved the fact that it had a milled aluminium case. I went with the LTC NB1041 Nimbleback keyboard and modded it with PBT XDA keycaps and Gateron Inks V2 black switches for a gorgeously thocky and buttery smooth typing experience.

    • @jonathanr4160
      @jonathanr4160 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Aaron_Lesse yeah I'm pretty noobish when it comes to mechanical keyboards. I just felt for the price it was a good deal since my main focus was a wireless one that didn't need to rely on Bluetooth and had good built quality.
