I am going to try this with my silk that I can't find a pattern for a blouse and it has a large floral pattern. I want to use the fabric to show the beautiful florals. Thank you for showing a simple and easy way to make a fitted skirt on the bias. You are going on my playlist as an exemplary example.
Sizing up is always trickier than sizing down. You could tho if there is enough seam allowance for you to seam rip it and sew it closer to the edge of the fabric

I love the idea! I have exactly the same skirt but it doesn't fit at the waist. Do you think I can size it up someway??
