Just wanted to add a disclaimer about safety razors, I've never heard anyone in the low waste community mention, they aren't safe for everyone. If you or a family member have a history of some mental illnesses it may not be safe/ may be triggering to have a box of razors in your house. If that's the case, what I do is, have a razor where just the head is disposable, use men's heads (they last longer and don't get clogged as much) and keep them out of the shower and dry after use.
I’m so glad you mention this! This is actually the only reason I have not switched to a safety razor-my husband just doesn’t feel comfortable having razor blades in the house. I use a shaving head subscription service and, like you said, keep the razor away from the shower when it isn’t being used. I only shave once or twice a week, so the heads last a good long time.

For anyone who might come across this comment, Christina talked about her Leaf blades dulling a lot. What I do with mine is open up the razor every once and a while to clean out between the blades, and while its open I sometimes flip the blades over and then keep using them if that makes sense. So each edge is sharp on the front side and back side there isn't a "face up" or "face down" of each edge so just turning it over like you're turning the page of a book keeps them sharp for me. I hope that makes any sense to anyone needing a Leaf tip!
I didn't realize others didn't know about this. I've been using a plain safety razor for a few years and had found out pretty quickly to "flip" the blade. I got a better shave doing that.

First, thanks Sedona! This comment from an amazon buyer seems on point: “I've been using bottle caps (stuck upside down into soap), and while it felt like a great lifehack, I started to worry about the metal, which I could smell pretty heavily. Not to mention that it would get goopy towards the end of the soap bar's life. I am about halfway through one of my bars (olive oil bar for my face--it does not hold up well at all if it sits in water), and I can already tell, this is a great product. I absolutely love my leaf razor. Keep it out of the shower. Super close shave. Never cut my skin at all. Normal safety razors I cut my self so badly. 10/10 recommend. So I took the bottom blade out and only use 2 blades now and it works so well! It doesn't affect the closeness of the shave at all. It helps so much with reducing nics. I love the pivoting head because that is the kind of razor I used before. I couldn't use the traditional saftey razor without tearing myself up. I absolutely love it!!

I looooove my Bite tabs. I've been using them for a while and am so glad they added the fluoride alternative because that was my biggest concern with natural toothpastes. ❤️ The watermelon flavor was so fun. The lavender lemon (I tbink?) reminded me of fruit loops.
Woo! I’m Happy for the fluoride option too! I’ve been having receding gums and pockets and so finally consulted my older sister (a dentist). She blessed toothtabs with fluoride very quickly! On the other hand, she was frustrated at me at 1st with the manual charcoal brushes. She did eventually help me find a compromise of a more sustainable electric toothbrush (Oral B with pressure sensitivity)
@@bethanysparling6527 I have seen a lot of people say it's the brushing motion that cleans the teeth, and they don't use toothpaste at all, and/or because they want an 'all-natural diy' toothpaste
I’ve used a leaf razor for over a year now. It is the absolute best razor I’ve ever used. You have to go slow, and not press too hard. I have super sensitive skin, and can’t use a lot of different shaving creams and with this razor, I don’t even have to use anything other than water to shave with and I get the closest, smoothest shave I’ve ever had. No rashes or bumps. Super easy to clean the blades also. Love, love these razors!!!
I was literally thinking right before you mention nHap that I could never switch to tabs because none of them have this ingredient - I'm so stoked to here that I'm wrong! I will definitely give these a go.
i had an issue with the meow meow tweet face cream because it melted and the texture changed but i melted it down again and then put it in the fridge and i honeslty like the texture more now so maybe try that with the lip balm!
Oh, and I have to say, I’m trying Bite and I don’t like them! They work really well but they have a really soapy flavor that I don’t like! I found a really nice one from Georganics. It’s clay based and cleans SUPER well!! Non foaming formula and I love it!! I have thyroid disease and I stay as far away from fluoride as possible!! If you have skin issues Grandpa’s soap co pine tar soap is a game changer!!! It has helped me ditch topical prescription medication to treat my seborrheic dermatitis! It smells a little like leather and I absolutely love it!!! Best face wash I’ve ever found!! A little ACV wash makes it a fantastic shampoo bar for curly girls like me! Best head to toe bar I’ve found and I’ve tried a few!!
I REALLY love Made for Lips on Etsy! They are out of Boulder Colorado. It contains beeswax but it’s my absolute favorite after giving up Burt’s Bees! It comes in a cardboard tube and I love it!
I've been wanting to try tab toothpaste for a while and I will definitely look into Bite. I have no idea how nHAP works but nerd fact, hydroxyapatite is the primary mineral in tooth enamel. 🤓 Any who...love your videos!
I’ve been using Bite for a few weeks! A channel called StrollingThroughLife reviews a bunch of toothpaste tabs. Bite isn’t super minty after like a traditional paste, and if you’re considering Georganics you should note that they’re very salty! StrollingThroughLife’s video goes really in depth for each!!
I love Leaf like it’s my job. So glad I bought one. Edit: the flat finishes don’t slip as much (in your wet hand) as the shiny finishes. I’ve heard that they’re working on a silicone sleeve for people who need a more “grippy” shaving experience.
@@kaylee596 any brand that you’d normally use with a safety razor you can use. Just snap them in half while they’re still in the protective packaging and you’re good to go.
Yeah. I found one at the Dollar Tree. However, butterfly razors can be difficult to use if you’re used to the fancy plastic ones that move around to give you a better angle. I’m glad there’s finally an option to have the flexible head and the low waste blade.
I got one on Amazon for $20, it is not a butterfly it is the other type that completely comes apart and came with 5 heads. I just bought 100 blades for $10, I love it and change the blade about one a month which means I have about an 8yr silly now. I used to use blades until over dull when using disposable heads because they were so expensive now I don't have to.
My safety razor is Van der Hagen. It comes in either a long or short handle and I was able to buy both the razor and the blades in my local grocery store, which was a big selling point for me. It's not as close of a shave as my old razor, but not a dealbreaker by any means. I've been using it for 5-6 years now and am seriously never going back.
I've been using the Leaf razor for a while and I've noticed I ALWAYS cut myself if I use cheap blades, but I've never had that problem if I use more quality blades and don't rush😊
I'd been under the impression you could only use Leaf blades with their razors (since you have to break them in half), are you saying you can use any brand?
For the leaf razor, it takes some adjustment as well when coming from other razor types. Also if you adjust the blade numbers and placement you would be surprised if the difference. I can't use three blades without cutting myself.
I got a leaf razor back in March, and at first I found I was taking chunks out of my leg, but the more I use it the more I've gotten used to it. I unscrew and fully rinse and dry the blades after each use and then turn the blades over to use both side every now and then too. I had some elastic bands lying around that i added to the handle for more grip!
I spent 30 dollars on amazon for a high quality butterfly razor and I don’t regret it. The key to avoiding cuts is starting with a mild razor. It’s hard to sift thru the junk on amazon that they try to sell as eco friendly goods but read the worst reviews to shift thru fake reviews.
Love my Leaf, but yes, a little tricker to clean out after a "Hairier shave" but if used daily, a quick flip up and rinse of each blade is super quick. I never used a standard safety razor, so I never needed to adjust the motion or angle of shaving, so I have never nicked myself.
I LOVE my Van Der Hagen safety razor. only 20 bucks and the 5 blades it came with lasted me over a year. Definitely don’t think you have to spend $70 on a razor! But I also understand people have preferences for different styles, shapes, etc
I recently got a Leaf Razor and I'm obsessed! I always cut myself shaving with regular razors and I haven't cut myself at all with the leaf! I've never used a traditional safety razor though.
Yes, so many people rave about the Leaf Razor and I just don't love mine. If I use 2 blades I get less cuts but not a close enough shave, and then 3 blades cuts. Also I find if my hair is too long it sometimes catches in the spring section 😔
I don’t know if you know of LUSH, but I love their lip balms! They’re a zero waste, natural ingredients, vegan, and cruelty free brand. The lip balms come in recyclable tins made from 50-80% recycled material. They’re kind of expensive, $12.95 for 0.4 oz, but I’ve had my lip balm for almost 3 years now! I will definitely purchase again. (I have the Rose Lollipop flavor 😊).
Thank you for doing these reviews! So many of these I’ve looked at and wondered about. The SPF I’m a little hesitant on due to it not being backed by any board certified dermatologist. And while it says it’s reef safe it doesn’t say anything about what type of zinc is it... nano or non-nano zinc. The Leaf razor I was super curious about too! I have a basic safety razor and I really enjoy it. I think for now I’ll stick to it. The detergent sheets are also very interesting to me. We are a family of heavy duty outdoors people. Our kids are constantly covered in mud (W. WA!), and the soil on our property is clay based which makes it harder to get stains out. I also wonder how they work on cloth diapers. The detergent we currently use for our diapers is pretty specific in that there’s no build up to ruin absorption, doesn’t have any form of scent or fragrance for irritation, and comes as a powder in a box with no wax or plastic lining. I might give these a try for our clothes though 🧐
@@jennifersoto-rinehart8754 it’s called Country Save! It seems like it’s a bit on the pricier side, BUT you need such a small amount that a box of it lasts for such a long time. We’re a family of 4, soon to be 5, and even when doing not just my husband’s, kid’s, my own laundry, and a couple of extra loads of cloth diapers a week, we only go through about 3 of the big boxes a year.
This is great! So glad you reviewed Leaf! I was debating a Leaf or Well Kept razor and ended up going with well kept (female owned Canadian brand). But always wondered about Leaf. Can’t say enough about well kept though, highly recommend!
Thank you for sharing! SUPER helpful video. I’m very curious to continue hearing about what you think about the soap nuts! Someone recommended them to me recently and I’ve been skeptical, but curious to hear more about your experience!
I've been using them for almost a year. I feel like they get my clothes clean. The only effort you need to put in, is soak them in super hot water for like 10 minutes if you're gonna do a cold load. I put them in a small lingerie bag, rather than the super tiny bag that comes with them. And take them out before you put stuff in the dryer. Other than that, they're super easy
@@idontkaris I've been using these ones which have fluoride www.etsy.com/ca/listing/769625703/toothpaste-tabs-with-fluoride-240480?ref=cart from what I've seen most North American brands will refuse to have fluoride in them /an alternative. Ojook toothpaste is a brand I'd like to try also
Honestly, toothpaste is the number 1 thing I'm never going to switch. Also because I have very sensitive teeth so the one I use is not going anywhere. Teeth are too precious to me to try stuff.
I didn't mind the bite tabs but strongly prefer the ones from Well Dental for anyone who might not have loved the Bite ones. Thanks for reminding me about the laundry strips. We bought a small quantity to try and totally forgot about them, lol. I love the leaf razor but always seem to nick myself around my ankles.
I have a high sensitivity to sodium bicarbonate and have yet to find a toothpaste or tooth tab without it. I have just found a good deodorant in a small metal tin called No Pong (an Australian brand) without bicarbonate but still on the toothpaste search.
I have the long handled butterfly safety razor (like she mentioned) from Albatross and it is so great! I hardly ever cut myself and get a pretty close shave. Definitely worth the extra $10 to have the extra long handle if you shave your legs
The blades are probably sulking faster because you use both blades every time, unlike with the traditional safety where you switch between. It’s literally twice as many shaves Love this video. Thank you so much!!
I find the biggest challenge for me with sustainability is dental care. My teeth are so problematic, I need to use an electric toothbrush and I use Sensodyne because I need fluoride and a sensitive toothpaste, but I hate it cause its not sustainable or cruelty free.
Quip on Instagram has an all metal electric toothbrush, if it helps. But focus on doing what you can. Maybe email sensodyne and ask if they'd ever make the packaging more environmentally friendly. It doesn't help the ingredients or cruelty free status, but it's something 🤷🏿♀️
Oral B will take back all oral care plastic containers for free! Supposedly we can request a mailer label, package it in any box, and snail mail it to them
I mean, dental care is a health necessity. I think it’s ok if you live a sustainable lifestyle in general but have a non sustainable or cruelty free dental care routine. If it makes you feel better, maybe donate money to sustainable organizations or animal rights groups every time you buy the toothpaste? At the end of the day, your health is a priority!
i totally agree with Ella. i also have extremely problematic teeth and literally refuse to use toothpaste tabs because they don’t have fluoride. oral health is SO important and a key player in your overall health so i don’t feel bad at all that i use Sensodyne or a prescription toothpaste. i use a bamboo tooth brush and a waterpik to cut down on waste in other areas of my routine.
I have tried tooth tabs from Lush before, and hated them. I would consider giving another brand a go, but I have to use antibacterial toothpaste now (in the UK we have Corsodyl) to prevent having continuous ulcers caused by medication, and not sure if that's a thing in tooth tabs yet.
On the safety razor thing... I used to cut myself and get irritation while shaving, and just spent many years with a beard to avoid shaving entirely. I recently learnt a bunch about shaving and now shave daily without cuts/irritation. First up, research what blades you’re using. Some brands of blades are super sharp (easier to cut yourself accidentally) and scratchy (causes more irritation) which is fine depending on skin types. But some brands are more dull - which my skin likes. You can get sample packs online of different brands until you find the one that suits you - some more dull ones I’d recommend are Astra, Wilkinson and Derby. Though some come in plastic cases. With safety razors you also don’t want to be pushing down at all - I think the leaf Razor is flawed based on this personally - but you want it to glide with the grain, and you want to do 3-4 passes/shaves before your legs will feel smooth. This is a big beginner mistake that I wish somebody told me before I started! I hope this info helps someone in the comments who’s had a bad experience or wanted to try!
I’ll have to try the laundry detergent. I’ve noticed a lot of people in the low waste community never mention working out, and therefor the zero waste laundry detergent works for them because they aren’t sweating and stinky. I’ve tried multiple zero waste laundry detergents and they have been a waste of money, because I sweat, but I’m also an athlete and workout multiple times a day hard core and the strips just don’t cut it. I’ve reverted back to store bought liquid because they don’t leave a residue and they actually work.
My mom uses the stain stick remover for my little brother’s white baseball pants, which are covered in dirty and sweat and sometimes blood.... and they work really well! So cool
I appreciate your input on laundry detergent!! I have Dropps and don’t like them :( I love their dishwasher pods but I feel like the Dropps does something weird with my deodorant because my shirts come out with crispy armpits😂 I’ll have to try the strips!
Any soap dish alternative: use a dish with a filter on top (to let the water drain down) wish a dish at the bottom. It saves your soap from staying wet/dissolving and keeps things cleaner!
I've been really curious about the leaf razor. I had an albatross for a little while but I have broke two of them from them slipping out of my hand. I really want to adopt a safety razor but sometimes it feels like they really don't want to adopt me lol.
Get yourself an Edwin Jagger. Excellent quality. Won't cost you that much, and they have women's versions. Search Edwin Jagger Women's Safety Razor on Amazon. I've had mine for YEARS and LOVE it!!!!!
@@elin9467 - There isn’t a difference in Edwin Jagger women’s vs men’s double edge safety razors except that the women’s comes in pastel colours. You use exactly the same blades, and you can screw the head off the woman’s razor and screw it onto the men’s. EJ razors use a screw mechanism instead of the butterfly head, but they are just as easy to clean. Just hold them under running water and all the hair comes out, without having to unscrew. I actually prefer the “men’s” options because the handles on the women’s are all smooth. On the others there are several options. Mine is silver with etchings in the handle. Also, what was great, I ordered a set with razor and brush and I called Edwin Jagger and requested the make my brush with vegan bristles and they did. So props to them for that.
I understand your doubt about soapnuts.. I think a brand is only really sustainable when they do consider the ethical aspect as well! I don't know if they are available in the USA, but I use 'Seepje' (little soap in Dutch) and they are an AWESOME brand with great ethical standars. You should look into them :)
I have only been using safety razors for a few months and they scare the crap out of me but I wasn’t cutting myself a lot, but when I bought a leaf (used) I found I was cutting the crap out of myself! With any type of safety razor I am terrified of doing my shin area 😬
Great video! I have been trying to become more sustainable over the years, this year I have been growing and canning a lot of my own food and I have really loved it! ❤ I definitely want to try a safety razor because it is the only part of my shower routine that isn't low waste
I’m very new to sustainability and use the soap nuts. I don’t know too much about their sustainability, they just felt like a good starting place. Would love to be educated on them!
I love my safety razor. The amount of plastic you get from the modern razors is insane. Even if your doing the replaceable razer heads its just so much plastic. Not only that but it is so much more expensive. Even when you are using men's to avoid the pink tax. For a refill pack price is what I can get a whole year's worth of razors. And then getting shave soap saves so much money and waste as well over the cans of shave cream. The company I order from I just bought the tin once for the puck and then just keep getting refill pucks. I am so happy I made the switch over to wet shaving so much saved waste and money.
Girl I appreciate so much that you put a trigger warning before the safety razor. Not that I'm triggered by it BUT I would only buy safety razor blades for one reason and that is not shaving! I feel guilty that I will have to continue using plastic razors but it's just not worth the risk even though me harming myself is very rare now! But you're the only sustainable channel that I've ever seen consider that using safety razors might be difficult for some!
this spf serum seems to be such a great pick! unfortunately I live in Europe and I don't know if they ship to where I live... and also: it's pretty pricey :D so I'm definetely open to the give away you mentioned :)
I fell the same way about the leaf razor, but again I started out shaving with a safety razor and had no issues with it. I grow my hair out as well so the cleaning factor is so annoying while shaving. I was super disappointed but I guess that’s marketing for ya, and probably more so user preference.
Hi!! I was wondering what jewelry companies you would recommend. I know of a few but they are so so expensive and I was wondering if you knew of any that were decently priced and were ethically made as well!!
Take a look Ana Luisa jewelry, I haven't done any deep dive into their sustainability practices, but I heard they use recycled metals and are carbon neutral.
So interesting! I've never heard of laundry detergent sheets - genius! Most "natural" cleaning products in stores are greenwashed so I need to try these sheets!
This was kind of a harsh review on Leaf Shave. My husband and I both use them and it took us about a month to figure it out. She mentions that you have to use 3 razors, let me be clear that you don’t have to. I cut myself more when using all 3 and switched down to 2, which works great! It actually recommends that in the info kit you are given. My husband uses all three for his face. Also switch directly from a plastic razor to Leaf Shave was a pretty easy transition. I love the flexible head as does my husband. I do agree with her comment about the handle. Leaf Shave actually recognized this and has announced plans to include a silicone sleeve to go around the handle some time in the near future. I found that I just have to wash off my hands more while shaving and that prevents the slipping. I highly recommend the Leaf Shave especially for people who shave their face. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you figure out the right number of blades and the amount of pressure to give, it is a really awesome razor!

Just a FYI you can change the blades on the leaf razer while it is in its stand i.e standing up. It's really easy.
I've been wanting to try tab toothpaste for a while and I will definitely look into Bite. I have no idea how nHAP works but nerd fact, hydroxyapatite is the primary mineral in tooth enamel. 🤓
Any who...love your videos!
Yeah I never cut myself with it and I recommend it to people all the time
@@martinecor2 I want one but I want the mercury color and it always seem to be out of stock ☹
Can you use off brand blades and break them in half or do they have to be leaf brand?
@@kaylee596 any brand that you’d normally use with a safety razor you can use. Just snap them in half while they’re still in the protective packaging and you’re good to go.
@@kaylee596 you can use off brands for sure !!!
there are plenty of really nice safety razors that aren’t branded as “zero waste” that have a bit of packaging but are cheaper and last forever too!!
@@rdeg94 Not emily, but yes. You can use any razor blades and just break them in half.
@@xKleiniax great thank you!
Do you guys have any recommendations for blades? I tried the Astra Platinum ones and really wasn’t a fan!
@K H to be honest I'm pretty happy with the Leaf brand razors, but I did just order some Rockwell razors to try. Will post back with how they do.
Watching your videos is what’s keeping me going!
Just watched Kiss the ground movie on Netflix about how we can reverse climate change by healing the soil, highly recommend it!
Just added to my list of stuff to watch! Thanks for the recommendation!
I love my leaf razor, never had an issue with cuts or slipping! I got my husband and my brother one too and they love theirs as well!
For toothpaste I use the Goodwell Co. it comes in a biodegradable sugarcane tube! And it tastes great
Oh YES! Your video on a Sunday, in my comfy clothes, cup of tea and a blanket on my knee HEAVEN!! ❤🙏🏻🌿☕ hugs from the UK x
Same here!
I made my own detergent for so long it took me forever to actually switch back. It was castile soap shaved and baking soda. Best soft clothes.
I’m so glad you showed the different toothpaste tab flavors! I hate mint, so I’ve been struggling so much with finding more sustainable options
Love my Leaf, but yes, a little tricker to clean out after a "Hairier shave" but if used daily, a quick flip up and rinse of each blade is super quick. I never used a standard safety razor, so I never needed to adjust the motion or angle of shaving, so I have never nicked myself.
Thank you so much for the warning about razors. So thoughtful.
OMG YAY. I need to study at the moment but definitely coming back to watch this later. Very excited!!
I LOVE my Van Der Hagen safety razor. only 20 bucks and the 5 blades it came with lasted me over a year. Definitely don’t think you have to spend $70 on a razor! But I also understand people have preferences for different styles, shapes, etc
agreed have had this one for 2 years!
I highly recommend the wellkept razor. Personal favourite.
I recently got a Leaf Razor and I'm obsessed! I always cut myself shaving with regular razors and I haven't cut myself at all with the leaf! I've never used a traditional safety razor though.
I got my safety razor from eco roots and I absolutely love it! Highly recommend! It’s the traditional style and was about 40-50$ !!!❤️❤️❤️
Yes, so many people rave about the Leaf Razor and I just don't love mine. If I use 2 blades I get less cuts but not a close enough shave, and then 3 blades cuts. Also I find if my hair is too long it sometimes catches in the spring section 😔
I love my well earth laundry strips! As well as their solid dish soap!
Wow what detergent is that? Sounds like it would work on my husband’s work pants.
10/10 recommend a leaf razor. Been using it since the game out and as long as you are using good blades you’ll be fine and no cuts or bumps.
Other than that, they're super easy
i'm really glad you reviewed Bite - I've been dying to try them and now I know I will!
Love having you back and glad you were able to slow down and take time for yourself
Also I too have a hard time gripping my Leaf razor, if you find any work arounds to this let us know
Once my plastic razor becomes dull I’m going to look into to switching over to a safety razor. 😀
I got a really cheap one in the summer of 2019 and my blade JUST NOW got dull enough to replace. They’re amazing!
I live mine. I picked it up @ Target for about $18 (?)
Thanks so much for this video! Loved it. Very refreshing to hear reviews of products from someone who is 100% honest
I went back to regular toothpaste last year ~ I was using natural toothpaste for a few years and developed so many cavities during that time :(
Same. I’m still looking for a low waste toothpaste with fluoride
unpaste is a new toothtab with fluoride thats in the us!!
@@idontkaris I've been using these ones which have fluoride www.etsy.com/ca/listing/769625703/toothpaste-tabs-with-fluoride-240480?ref=cart from what I've seen most North American brands will refuse to have fluoride in them /an alternative. Ojook toothpaste is a brand I'd like to try also
I’ve always been confused by the anti-fluoride sentiment in the natural/sustainable space. Why are people so against it?
I love your review videos like this! I have similar laundry strips that work really well! Thanks for the video!
The blades are probably sulking faster because you use both blades every time, unlike with the traditional safety where you switch between. It’s literally twice as many shaves
Love this video. Thank you so much!!
Can you look into stuff on lashes? I love the look of big lashes but I still want to do it sustainably
Please do zero waste menstrual routine video!
Supposedly we can request a mailer label, package it in any box, and snail mail it to them
@@hynnow18 Oh good to know, thanks!
Happy New Year👍💖Thank you very much , my friend 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
My mom uses the stain stick remover for my little brother’s white baseball pants, which are covered in dirty and sweat and sometimes blood.... and they work really well! So cool

I am just not used to leaf razor even my first use😂 ended up with my hubby and i use the butterlfly safety razor im much used to it ify😆
Omg I love your videos! Like you should totally make more cooking videos!! ILY girlyyy thanks for the amazing content 🥺☺️ILY... ❤️❤️
everything you said about the leaf i 100% agree with. wish i just got a basic butterfly razor instead :(
i LOVE well earth goods & actually have used the laundry sheets and lip balm you have. both are amazing products imo!
I appreciate your input on laundry detergent!! I have Dropps and don’t like them :( I love their dishwasher pods but I feel like the Dropps does something weird with my deodorant because my shirts come out with crispy armpits😂 I’ll have to try the strips!
I just ordered the new limited edition flavor from bite and it’s my first time trying there product and I’m so excited to get it!
Love the opening to the video!
Parker safety razors are the best! My partner and I have the same ones and they are perfect !!
They were $40AUD and super good quality
I've had mine for YEARS and LOVE it!!!!!
is there a difference between women's and men's?
I have one from Mühle which is also so good!!
@@arctiacaja - Yip, they make great razors also. They have one I love, but since I already have one from EJ, it didn't make sense buying a second.
What a lovely treat to start my Sunday with a new Christie video! These reviews are very helpful. 💖
With any type of safety razor I am terrified of doing my shin area 😬
i had the same lip balm journey 🤣 and settled on a bergamot and basil balm from juniperseed mercantile
Great video! I have been trying to become more sustainable over the years, this year I have been growing and canning a lot of my own food and I have really loved it! ❤ I definitely want to try a safety razor because it is the only part of my shower routine that isn't low waste
Buddha balm! From PCC slaps! It’s vegan and from Bellingham !! I love the chocolate flavor so much :))))
Could you do a video on your copper iud?
I’m very new to sustainability and use the soap nuts. I don’t know too much about their sustainability, they just felt like a good starting place. Would love to be educated on them!
Thank u so much! I’ll pass on the Leaf and keep the safety razor I have now.
We sell the No Tox lip balm at my work (Our Footprints Co.) and I just bought it for my mom for Christmas because she's obsessed with Earl Grey tea.
I have the David’s toothpaste and I’m going to clean and recycle it as a paint tube!
Thanks for this review, Sedona! Need to check out that leaf razor! 😍
omg I've never been this early 🥺 I love your videos!!
I am so happy I made the switch over to wet shaving so much saved waste and money.
thank you for reviewing bite, I was just looking in to them! have you tried ruut? I would love to hear a comparison!
But you're the only sustainable channel that I've ever seen consider that using safety razors might be difficult for some!
this spf serum seems to be such a great pick!
unfortunately I live in Europe and I don't know if they ship to where I live...
and also: it's pretty pricey :D
so I'm definetely open to the give away you mentioned :)
You could look into vintage pieces!
Hittin' us with the facts 1:00 in! Love it!!
So interesting! I've never heard of laundry detergent sheets - genius! Most "natural" cleaning products in stores are greenwashed so I need to try these sheets!
Cheapest eco friendly laundry: nellie’s laundry soda!! Recommend, lasts forever, very affordable
Your hair is looking so damn good!!
It takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you figure out the right number of blades and the amount of pressure to give, it is a really awesome razor!
this was soooo helpful, thank you!!
