Think im gonna make my main a bounty hunter first...40k spike spiegel incoming lol. Gonna name my dude Speculo and gonna name the ship xiphias and pick the dauntless type vessel or perhaps the Neumenkunde as a reference/similitude to the Bebop...the latter sounds cooler but spikes ship the swordfish was also pretty badass Bang
Do we know if Jae (or is it spelled Jea?) is the only character overall in the game who can dual-wield pistol type weapons? If she isnt, Im kinda tempted to go Marksman into Bounty Hunter with two pistols to try to get a Dante from Devil May Cry, Bayonetta from Bayonetta, or Samira from League of Legends vibe. Getting into the thick of things with two pistols, firing this way and that. Or would Arch Militant actually be better to go for that kind of vibe?
There's a dual wield talent that you can take. Jae can probably dual wield better than anyone else but you can still do it. I have a video coming out tomorrow on all the base talents.
I JUST thought of a question (which now might be a good time since the game is out now so people might have experimented): what if you have 2 Bounty Hunters in your team? Like how will both of them individually trying to mark prey work? And how will the abilities that trigger from an ALLY attacking or killing prey work if that ally is ALSO a Bounty Hunter getting their own archetype bonuses?
@@SlanderedGaming Alright. I'll test it with Pascal and the Eldar sniper (sadly can't remember her name) when I eventually get the game. But IF you decide to get to it, I would be delighted to hear your report. lol
But how do you use it? I've had range only weapons, with ammo, I trigger wild hunt, I get a cursor with a box on it (WTF? I tagged multiple prey in the turns prior) and... fizzle. Wasted Ult. How do you use it?
I'm not convinced by Bounty Hunter, feels like a weird mix of Operative and Marksman, i have the feeling that DPS Wise, Markman are better off going Archmilitant and Operative going Assassin.
In beta marksman/Bounty hunter worked great. It seems for me that Owlcat had a sniper character in mind when designing this archetype, but it works best with a frontliner. It has a lot of abilities which depend on the number of critical hits you make. For example - stacking armor penetration for every crit or restoring HDP charges, and high-fire rate/low range weapons on Argenta, for example, work best for it. Marksman has the ability which increases their critical hit damage for every hit made, which also synergizes well. The other thing is that Cull the Bold works best on high-fire rate weapons, increasing the damage of every shot by an insane amount, shredding every boss in one burst. It was an insane damage, but I guess we need to test the archmilitant first. But in beta I had a Marksman/BH character with a drukhari splinter canon. This thing does not have a single attack mode, while having 8 fire rate, so Marksman's ulti allows you to make 8 bursts for free, while increasing its fire rate to 10 after use. Needless to say that with all of that critial damage/armor penetration and HDP stacks recovery you can finish you ulti turn with like 270% crit damage and 80% armor penetration. I hope they nerf or remake this a little bit. At least they can add a single fire mode to the splinter canon and make Cull the Bold bonus viable only for the first bullet.
Bounty also had a fun synergy like set a prey then proc celebrate the kill, into hot on the trail. So your celebrate the kill now can be used to attack and it lowers your cooldown, of course if you're operative start and not marksmans start you might want to exploit instead. Still freebies
I would also love to see your take on a dual pistol ranged DPS build!
Yup that's definitely in the cards!

Bang
There's even women who will literally kill him lol. One of the best anime ever.
😂😂
Good to see you back at making videos again man. 😁
Thank you! Good to be back!

I haven't tested this but considering exploits work across multiple Operatives I assume Prey is the same way.

Thanks for the video
My pleasure!
But what happens if you have two bounty hunters? Do they share pray or get individual prey? How does that interact with "share the spoils"?

Bounty Hunter is fantastic for Marksman who are better served using the same attack type every single time.
Woo, at last. Been waiting for this
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@SlanderedGaming thank you
can i change my hair after i started the game?
To my knowledge no.
Shame Jae can't be this.
