Seems like a good class to use with voidborn, since they let you replace fellowship with intelligence, all those abilities with Int + Fel become Int + Int, which would make them pretty strong if you focus on stacking Int.
Yay another video!. Hope your health is better man!. Loving the consistency of the videos so far, this game looks like the most accessable game out of all the OwlCat games!.
Grand Strategist has a lot going on. Owlcat is certainly doing a good job making a support character very appealing to me. I'm curious come release whats going to end up being among the more popular choices for a MC.
@@ArantyrDarkhand I have. Officer was quite strong in Alpha and Beta, I'm still thinking about what character I want my RT to be but there's no way I'm not taking an Officer with me whether it's my RT, Cassia or Jae it's too strong to languish on the bench.

If you have the background feature that replaces your Fellowship with Intelligence, what happens with abilities that use both intelligence and fellowship to determine the bonus? Does it take your intelligence bonus twice?
I am subscribed to his channel and definitely like his content. For an archetype like this that is mainly buffing an debuffing I don't feel like gameplay makes sense because you are not really seeing the character do anything. For Warrior and Marksman I do plan to provide gameplay footage.
Hey, thanks. I really appreciate you bumping this up the 'queue'. It really seems interesting. Very complex, and will likely require a few re-watches (and maybe even note-taking) to really understand what bonuses are and can be applied to each area. I do want to say one thing, though, what I hope is constructive criticism, it feels like your 'here at Slandered gaming....' patter is way too long for something said at the start of every single video. Now, I get you have to advertise yourself, and I am aware of the statistics as to *why* content creators really do have to ask viewers to like and subscribe, but it simply feels much too long for me to listen through every single time. Imo, "Here at Slandered Gaming, we focus on CRPGs, so please like and subscribe if that interests you." at the start should be more than sufficient, and maybe have some 'canned' patter after your sign-off giving more details (exactly what videos for what games), so those people new to your channel can keep listening if they want, while those of us well aware of what videos you make can just close the video there without missing anything important. Obviously, this is very subjective, but it is beginning to seriously grate on my nerves. Also, your first bookmark is incorrectly labelled 'Triumphs/darkest hours'.
The Blitz Stratagem doesn't forcefully move your companions to the chosen zone - instead, on their turn they have an ability, that allows them to do that.
Its INCREDIBLE broken. If it works the way im thinking. You get unilimited move point has long has it is from your point to that area. The best skill in the game.
Its interesting how at the same time it looks more and less complicated compared to WotR... BG3 is not even close ofc, as easy as Tetris in comparison :) In a way it reminds me of X series, space sim... when you just start to play its overwhelming, tons of buttons, windows, commands... or EU type of games, also pretty crazy stuff at first.
Okay I have another question. Do you have a plan to make a Video about Companions? For me i wish to know what Class every companion has to watch a little bit what i am missing.
Hello! Great video. A Voidborn can take a talent which allows him/her to use Intelligence instead of fellowship when using talents. How does this affect Grand Strategist talents wich use the sum of Int+Fell as modifier. Is that then 2 X Int modifier used (if Int is higher) or that Voidborn talent does not work in this way?
Grand Strategist automatically go first so if there's a character you REALLY want to make sure goes early then it could be a good option. Otherwise I would say no.
That's the exact reason why i'm respecing Pasqal out of it, the zones need a rework in the way they are placed. Oftentimes i think about a good place to put each and the game just goes "nah i'll rotate it now because x and y reasons" so it doesn't work whatsoever with the ideal placement for that encounter. Just let us rotate it and put it in whatever position we feel like, since it comes from a TTRPG i doubt your GM would give you rules about when you can rotate them. PS: i love the idea behind the archetype, it's just not rewarding compared to the strugles it brings.
Depends on what type of Psyker you are running. If you want to focus on buff and debuffing than this is perfect. It's also great if you want to ensure your Psyker goes first every time. If you want to get the most out of Psyker abilities you won't be able to invest a lot into your archetype anyway.

@@SlanderedGamingSo ive seen some skills use the characterist lile inteligence, or INT + Fel Bonus. WHat does that mean? Can you give some examples how the system works? Some skills use PER. Oter +percepion, oters perception bonus.
This is great. I found the Adept Clue system to be unintuitive, difficult to use and unimpactful when used. The Grand Strategist looks like it addresses all those issues.
This class seems like a totally boring buffer, like a cleric, you maybe want to mix it up with a healer or as a throwaway for points. Feels like a skill filler.
I really appreciate your work! It really makes the game more enjoyable to watch your videos and strategize beforehand!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support and glad you are enjoying the content!
Good concise description of the GS.

You said it! Such a pity the Navy Officer doesn't seem that strong an Origin; a Voidborn Grand Strategist Navy Officer would be amazingly thematic!
I am not sure it works that way but if it does yeah that's a great combo.

Yes it does. :)
Slandered do you think a commissar can make a decent grand strategist? Not necessarily sure what homeworld yet but I like the idea.
Sure you can make that work. At some point I'll do a livestream where we can sit together and start looking at different builds.
