It was amazing meeting you at the track. I have a few clips of the Mk1 golf and you. 3rd to 4th fireball out your exhaust is like a party trick everyone waits for. Very few cars on the night but this battle between you and the Lester kept everyone there until the last race! Fully entertaining. P.S. im the guy with the KO3 pushing 178kw
Definitely the closest races I've had. I've had some close runs but its usually me catching someone right before the line. A completely different experience. Both great but this was a treat.
Glad you enjoyed it 💪🏽 The consistency was great. I was very impressed. I used to be all over the place before, the setup is getting there. Especially with back to back runs. I can't complain.

I agree with you. The times are good, it helps me a lot. But it can so easily take away from a great run because the time isn't what's expected. Anyways, spec on the Mk1 is a GT30 turbo, stock motor and supporting mods running on E50 with around 1.4 bar on the night. So simple, yet so effective.

The car is getting out really well now. That K20 Civic used to gap me off the line and I would need all the boost to catch him. lol. The car has come a long way.

Your car, runs almost every robot racing and you are able to drive it home - not many can say that. Don't give in to the crit. The decision of not posting times should be yours and yours alone, don't let people influence/ impact your decision.
I said that if I lose the first run, I'm staying in the lane. So that's what I did. 🤣 I would have been slower in the left lane and that wouldn't have been as much fun.
I've got forged rods, 20thou oversized cast pistons and race bearings. Other than that, it's stock. It would have only been rods if there wasn't ridges in the bore. It came out of a Sharan that wasn't driven hard so the bore wasn't well used. Lol.

What's ur maximum rpm? Seems like when u shift u have to start building boost again
It's 7500 rpm. 3rd hear is long so the rpm drops just below the boost threshold.
