Hello, it depends. If it’s a luggage for the hold under the aircraft, you’ll need to be assisted. And of course if you are traveling with the same airline for both legs of the journey then your luggage is most likely to be released for you at your final destination.
Being an Indian passport holder, you need a Schengen visa to take a flight to Denmark. Because as per your claim, the destination of your flight is Denmark, not UK. Self-transfer means you have your ticket till Denmark and you have a different ticket from Denmark to UK. If you don't have a Schengen visa, you will not be allowed to board your flight in India.
From starting of the video did you just got off from the plane? And which country that plane that departed? Do i have to go thru the passport control even if my flight origin is schengen country going to denmark?
I arrived in Denmark from the UK so I had to go through passport control because of Brexit. In your case you don’t have to; Schengen countries are borderless at entry points.
At Billund airport, 40 minutes is simply enough especially if it’s same airline for the first flight. Meaning, even if the first flight delays, you know your next flight at BILLUND won’t fly until others have landed or you’ll be sorted in any case!

Ok travelling to Tallinn Estonia from the UK and have a transfer in Billund. Is 1 hour 10 mins enough for a self transfer with only hand luggage
