🎬 ON TODAY'S MANUAL: I've built a pedalboard that could meet all my needs for a shoegaze and alternative rock setup with the best budget offerings I could find on AliExpress and Amazon, and here's the result! Don't worry, of course I didn't let the Zoom Ms 50g out hehe 😜 I know some of them are not so budget friendly, but they're the most convenient option I've found for my specific use. I also chose them looking for the most quality product I could find for the price - the Mooer reverb, for example, doesn't click randomly when I turn it on like my Cuvave Digiverb, so for my use it's way better. Plus it's got an Infinite Mode (: extremely useful to create those endless soundscapes we crave so much. Also, I've included some different distortion, overdrives and fuzzes as well as some special effects options to create dynamics and make it as versatile as possible combining all of them. All the sounds you hear were recorded through the DI out in the Nux Amp Academy, a full-featured amp simulator packed with Chop Tones IR's of amps that were widely used in Shoegaze and Indie Rock. I'm using the Fender Twin Reverb preset. I'd say these make a great budget friendly setup! Hope you like it (:

The R7 X2 and Flamma Black Dist were the best combo. The others I didn't like that much, sounded tinny, like through an 8" solid state practice amp. You still get a like on the video 😀

They’re awesome right? I do have my favs and the R7x2 is definitely among them! I have to try it on a stereo setup with my amps 👀 curious to mic them up and experiment recording with that setup

You’re pushing a lot of mids on your basic tone - maybe try to balance them back a wee bit.
You’ve also got a massive ground loop that you could try to eliminate before adding any pedal.
Is the ground loop there if you plug straight into amp without the pedals?
Add the pedals back one by one until you find the culprit.
It could be the proximity of your psu to the pedals
Does your psu have isolated outputs?)
It could be maybe the Amp Academy (digital pedals don’t sit well beside psu)
Improving your basic tone with the amp sim before connecting anything else will really help you.
