If you mean the Dewalt i absolutely agree. The other was a rice pudding beater. Thanks for the comment .

Thanks Dean. Yes I will have to be careful to only undo bolts with it due to the power.

I have the older one, bought in a kit with 2 batteries, charger and a case. Think mine is 950Nm claimed. Works well and very rarely needed to charge the batteries

Hi Katy. That must be the 899 model. They both work great. Used mine again today taking wheels off. Perfect.

@@Steviegtr52 899P2. Does most things I need. When I bought it, it was the most powerful for sensible money.

Impact driver is for screws only really thats why the chuck is for hex bits.

Thanks for that , but it did come with a set of impact sockets in the box. On the advert it showed a pic of taking wheel nuts off a car. So not sure.

This is an impact wrench, these are primarily used for bolts and getting close to the required torque spec.
Where as impact drivers are primarily used for screws. So ur not wrong, just got the wrong tool.

I've got the 1/2 inch dewalt impact wrench, and it does its job well. Takes off nuts torqued to 450 ft lbs like it's nothing. Although, we also have a inch impact wrench. And well the difference is definitely noticeable

Yes it seems to be very powerful. But as you say the 1" is a different thing altogether. Thanks for the comments.

Absolutely wasting your time with those batteries. 4ah minimum to get the best out of that wrench.

Yes you are absolutely correct Pat. I removed the front wheel from the TVR last night. The minute you apply load the battery flashes & the gun dies. After many attempts i got the nuts undone. I nearly bought a 5Ah one today when my Son came round & told me he has 2 of them & only uses his 1.3Ah ones . So he will be bringing them round on Tues. Win Win. Thanks for your input.

You will never look back with 5ah batteries in that gun. Great purchase
