If you want crispy skin. Brush some grease on it and finish it for 5 min 180C° on air fry or roast. You'll love it.

2 ladies in Canada did a 25lb turkey cutting it in 1/2 and laying it on the grill and it looked so good

Did they know Hank Pym (that is a nerdy Ant Man reference). I can't see how you can do that! It just does not seem like it would fit lol! I went and looked and they made it fit, BARELY. But it looks like it was hitting the top where the air circulator is which would worry me a little. The lid was not fully closed either but props to them, the got it done and it looked delicious.

I am going to try it, but I am going to cook 1/2 at a time and my turkey is 12 pounds

I just bought a turkey leg to smoke tonight here in Ireland. Your's was is the first video to popped up in my search on how to smoke a turkey leg on a Ninja WFG! Thanks, I was expecting to cook for 3 - 4 hours, seems to be significantly less, right? Just over the hours mark?

Yes, it takes WAY less time than expected. I think it’s due to it being such a small cook chamber. I have noticed most regular smoker recipe times are way too long for this unit. Good luck with your cook!!!

Spatchcock a small turkey and put it on the grill. 12 pounds should work.

Maybe a chicken, no way a 12lb turkey. It may look bigger in video lol.

It is the easiest way to get all of the individual parts cooked properly. Plus this was with the smaller one so size was defiantly a concern!
