I bought mine the same day you did. It's fully specced with everything except the alarm and headlight pro. I've also done pretty much the same mods to mine as you have. I think it's a great bike. Looks good, it's comfortable, the tech works, it handles really well. I'm really pleased with mine.
Good video 👍🏻
Thank you!
I have a 2024 F900R Triple Black full packs. Love the bike.
Owned my 2024 for 3 months now. Quick shifter is silky smooth in all gears after 1000 miles. My dealer had a bike with everything on it, much of which I didn’t want. I have removed the nav cradle ( you can order shorter OEM bolts from the dealer so you are not left with the ugly nav mount bolts) the cradle is too big and bulky and obscures the screen if you use it with a phone holder so just lose it and fit something like a quad lock. It’s very easy to remove, you don’t need to remove any fairings. Mine had the luggage rails and centre stand, I have removed them both to reduce weight and you really do notice it. I weighed all of the parts I removed including the tail ( fitted evotech tail tidy) it was over 7kg of unwanted weight. The centre stand and bracket is over 2.5kg.
I am ordering the arrow exhaust after watching loads of videos but your instal video made my mind up, sounds (and looks) incredible I am also considering wrapping the bike so it would be great to see how you get on. Great content, awesome bikes, subscribed. Ride safe.
Thank you so much, this means a lot to me! Glad the video was able to help!
Great video and summary of ownership!
I would like to suggest two things.
1. A small windshield so you eliminate air when you drive, becomes a much nicer driving experience. 2. A phone holder for your navigation device so you can charge your phone and also charge your devices with two USBs. That way you don't have to remove it and you get to use it instead. If you want to see how I did it, I have uploaded a video on my channel.
Continue with your work
Went to your page, didn't see the video of how to convert the mount
Hey man just to let you know, you can also disable / cancel cruise control by rolling up the throttle a little past the idle position. this apparantly is a bmw thing that i also didnt know about for way too long :)
Instead of removing the sat nav cradle maybe just swap the insert for a phone mount? That's what I've got on my F900R and with wireless charging I find it very useful.
Good video and fair review.
Totally agree with you! Bike is gorgeus!
Love your video. I’ve been trying to decide between the triumph speed twin and the bmw f900r. Although I really like the look of the bm, there was something about it I wasn’t sure about, and then I saw your bike! The tail tidy and the bar end mirrors transform the look and the arrow end can is just icing on the cake. One small criticism, and it might just be me because I’m an old geezer, I found your camera work very distracting. It was all over the place. That’s just my point of view.
your coolant expansion tank is ok, there is not meant to be a hose or any sort of cover on the breather, the coolant leak is most likely from the coolant level being slightly overfilled, when the engine is warm the level probably rises slightly and when riding it is able to escape the reservoir, best options would be to run the coolant between minimum and maximum or fit your own overflow hose.
Thanks so much for the info! I really appreciate it!
I gave up on my quick shifter on my F900XR, it works has "no issues" but i just use the clutch for smoother ride experience.
Great insight, thanks
I am picking up this exact bike on Thursday. I’d love the link to your rear fender delete, lower fairing, and the mirrors. Also, I live on a gravel road so we will see how that goes (I’ve been riding motorcycles down the road for five years so I don’t suspect it’ll be an issue).
I also got mines back in early march for my second bike. I got about 4k miles and I’m in Ohio. I live about 4 blocks from Motorad. My first bike is the g310r also really fun and super light. My two cons on the f900r is the seat sucks and the weight. Other than that it’s an awesome bike. It sounds great and actually pretty quick. Next bike is a super duke though. Funny thing I also want the f900r cup look.
That’s awesome! Definitely an amazing bike all around.
I had a G310 before i went triumph. Fun bike for sure but soooo slow haha
@@rwdconnor lol yea it’s pretty slow. I decided to ride it to work today. I forgot how fun it was cause it’s so light and you really have to rev it out. The f900 it’s a piece of cake to get up to speed.
Hey Bro, are you having trouble switching to Neutral when at stoplights?
I was having quickshifter issues too, and I realized that a cluth cable was moving making the clutch sensor engage and due to that, interfering when I tried to use the quickshifter.
Did you figure out the coolant reservoir nipple thing? It definitely looks like there should be a line connected to it.
are you comfortable?i see your legs a bit cramped.how is the seat?isnt it too firm?
How tall are you? im a bit on the shorter side 5'7 so I can kinda sorta flat foot it. how much will it lower it? or do you need a lowering kit. Also, does the cruise control have a max speed it can go to? I know some have limits
@@shoebert31 Hi! I am 6ft 2in and in the video I show how it fits me. Very comfortably. Also so far I haven’t found any sort of limitations on the cruise control. Lastly, yes the height can be adjusted more with the rear spring adjustment under the seat.
Do you know if you can get a wrap that will be identical to the cup look that you posted? As in, can they copy that pattern?
классный мотоцикл у меня тоже такой! глушитель arrow не сильно громкий? тоже хочу купить.
The code doesn't work for the 20% off. I just got the 2024 and want to eliminate that back tail.
Hi, try to remap your bike by RS2E
Hey, have the same bike, you may have had a little too much coolant, when it heats it expands and overflows through that nipple as it begins to reduce with use it will no longer be of any issue. Safe riding 🫡
@@shandhirani7559 Awesome! Thanks
