Thanks for having me mate! ❤
Can’t wait to catch up again on the year when you’re on that million 📈 YOU'RE FLYING
Been waiting for this ! Constantly have matts, Chris and your episodes playing in the garage as I tinker with my TTS 8j!
Hard work beats talent 😊
Hope it is going well ❤️🩹 @@caljohnstone486
Only big because of maths help
Chris Slix is without a doubt one of the nicest, most down-to-earth TH-camrs that I've met alongside my social media career. I'm really looking forward to this episode..
Second that!🦾
I met Chris, along with Mat, Ben from Evil GT and Calvin at CCD last year.
I've also met Freddie at Petrolheadonism along with Scott Ratarossa and Sam Hard.
And I've met Ciro and Adam C several times.
I have to say all these people outside of TH-cam are normal people like the rest of us and all top down to earth folk.
Especially Ciro, he has time for anyone no matter how big or small they are and that's why Petrolheadonism is so successful.
By the way Chris I'm currently in the process of setting up detailing business so would be interested in possible youtube collaboration on how to go about it?
I think that Chris and Mat and Freddy and even yourself Ben are the real reason people keep watching. It's your personalities and genuine love for your trade that really shines. When you guys change your interests, that's when people will lose interest. Goes for anything, when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
Chris Slix is a nice genuine, down to earth Guy, he deserves the success, I love his channel.
He sure does!
Love his channel. I’m in the middle of binge watching all his videos. What a funny guy. Love the road trips with Mat & the gang.
I’ve seen people say oh budget mat Armstrong etc and I don’t agree. Despite him clearly seeing how well mat was doing and deciding to follow the formula (even down to how the thumbnails look) he still does things differently. I commend anyone willing to take a risk in life and learn new things. It also doesn’t take into account what is actually going on on the ma channel to make it so successful, any of us with experience in social media businesses can see it. I built a very successful marketing agency which I sold for a considerable sum and let me tell you, all is not as it seems on social media, especially with the most successful channels. He won’t get there until he learns this. So I definitely have a healthy respect for people like Chris. Well done mate.
😂
Well done Chris.. I enjoying watching your videos all the way in South Africa🇿🇦
Hoping to see a restored Diablo from Chris soon ;)
I like this lad Chris, really enjoying the content, my new favourite car channel, normal cars, normal lads having a laugh, Quality.
Chris has been one of my inspirations, as I tried to navigate rebuilding motorcycles on my channel. He is now motivation too. Thanks for this upload and keep it up Chris!!
Love your Chanel
That's awesome!
Just subscribed to your channel - I wanted to see some more bike salvage works!
Start off the week with some good viewing 👌
Another amazing episode!!!
Interesting to hear about how you were thinking about your channel and how to afford it etc whilst you were still doing your "day job" ... It's certainly one of the things running through my mind at the moment. Managed to do my first car just trying to source/fund the next car and final few parts for the first one
Love to dip in and out of Chris's channel when he has a build I am into. Really enjoyed the F-type series.
Lovely guy Big Chris . Remember seeing him in Irlam doing bits
Super nice Guy who makes great videos, best of luck to him.
Fantastic interview again, and Chris congratulations on your channels success

37:30 Being a car person is mostly what brings people towards these video firstly with an interest like anything. Then just like Jeremy Clarkson said "It’s what non-car people don’t get. They see all cars as just a ton and a half, two tons of wires, glass, metal, and rubber, and that’s all they see. People like you or I know we have an unshakable belief that cars are living entities… You can develop a relationship with a car and that’s what non-car people don’t get… When something has foibles and won’t handle properly, that gives it a particularly human quality because it makes mistakes, and that’s how you can build a relationship with a car that other people won’t get"
Is everyone in Leicester as sound as Chris and Matt ? Im gonna move!
Chris is great his channel is different to mat Armstrong I’m pleased they are different I do love mat and Chris road trip so I would like to see a car wars between them but fun
404 not found on the link to his channel?
Raffle the M3 🌨️🥅

Thank you for letting me know, shall check it now!
what's the betting this unit he's getting is the other side of Mallory Performance.. cant get over how much this guy wants to be like MA, to the point the colour of the M3 wheels although slightly different they instantly reminded me of the purple Porsche, love the builds but stop trying so hard to be someone your not.. be original and stand out
Its all very well and a great video and i think Chris Slix is one of the best Car Guys. However i dont mean to bring down these guys but these cars are never the same again an in my opinion are to unsafe to put back on the road. Mat Arnstrongs cars especially are very questionable
Chris came across well in this podcast compared to his videos...I think he'll be able to pivot when the crash damage repairs become off-trend.
Overall, Chris is a nice guy don’t make me wrong but each video what I see from Chris is copying Mat.He also needs to be as unique as Mat.
Sad to say he won't b as big as Mat,doesn't have the same charisma that mat has!😬😬🤔🤷🤷🤷🤔
MA is a phenomenon
Agree his just copying his friend and using his clout
Great watch! Always a pleasure working with Chris🪡
about to order a wheel cover thanks to his vid ;)
