Ben, thank you for not interrupting Colin as many others would have, much appreciated. Colin your dad would be very proud of you. 💗 I've always enjoyed Colin's personality and enthusiasm for tinkering and building. And I think he inspired me to dig up my garden and fix the sewer pipe. Quite a daunting task as I had put it off for probably 10 years. (I have a career in the filming business and wish I had filmed my project.) Colin is right, digging up the first spade full of dirt crosses the comfort zone. But I found out that if I take my time and do each stage to the best of my ability, I get there in the end. Eventually I have the satisfaction of getting my downstairs toilet to work 100% again. Ben, you earned a subscription and I'm off to check out your other videos.
well done gents. I really enjoyed the whole discussion. it reminded me of when I was a kid, building all kinds of crazy stuff. I grew up on a farm. I found an old block building in the woods once that had mostly fallen down. I decided to build a forge; so I stacked the concrete blocks up in a mass with a fire box section; put down a piece of metal roofing for the heat are on top with a ring of blocks holding it down. I filled the top cavity on top of this metal sheet with rocks. I tried to use it; it failed miserably 😀 it was a wonder I didn't burn down the woods.

Biggest influence on me, I saw what he built from his shed and it genuinely inspired me. I kinda framed my own shed to his and in honestly he brought back my inner child and changed my life and brought back my imagination. I hope he doesn't stray too far away from the projects he did in his shed.
My dad was from South Cheam. I’m 60 now and it was born and raised in New York live with my parents pretty normal middle-class life. But as an Englishman to me in my teen years and older, I had exactly the same kind of parallel life to my dad. We were two different people and he didn’t 100% understand who I was, because he was righteously and productively focused on his own pursuits. And that way, he was a great example for me as an adult.
I love what you guys are doing here. I have a note about the sound. It sounds very compressed and unnatural. You may want to back off the active noise canceling and / or compression on the recording side and focus on fixing noise in post-production. We can't hear you breathing in between phrases, and it's just missing something. Again! Amazing content, keep it up.

Great interview. Colin is such a down to earth guy, that does the crazy stuff we all wish we could.
Colin really strikes me as just a(somewhat) normal bloke, would love to see some of his old BMX stuff
Love listening to the history of how this all came about. I love creating and making stuff. Colin is a massive inspiration to me. Thanks for the video!
Just had a flash back about something I forgot I'd seen. Colin Furze being Russell Howard's mystery guest! Going to watch rest of video first but... Next rabbit hole is going to be a mystery guest montage. You have a natural way Ben of making people comfortable. Not quite Parkey, yes I'm of that generation but master of your craft you are for this current youtube generation. 👏👏👏 And to butter your ego just a little bit more, I will be subscribing. Love a bit of Furze
Colin Furze has always been my favorite TH-camr. The way id describe him is the best guy to be around during an apocalypse 😂
The Ferris wheel sticks out as a favorite. I would have the chickens scared out of me to try and go round on that. tHanks for all the great videos!
Great job on the interview, tHanks
Biggest influence on me, I saw what he built from his shed and it genuinely inspired me. I kinda framed my own shed to his and in honestly he brought back my inner child and changed my life and brought back my imagination. I hope he doesn't stray too far away from the projects he did in his shed.
Colin demonstrates this wisdom so well. "Faster alone, further together"
Excellent first 40 second intro! Peaks interest without spoiling.
At this stage Colin could put out a video on crocheting drinks coasters and we would watch
I think he should try this for research purposes
My Alexa just replied "I'm not sure about that" to the flame thrower.
At long last we have the best interview of Colin that I have found extremely entertaining. Well done Ben and Colin. ye should do something crazy together. You connect.

Totally forgot about the CKY skateboard video(that evolved to Jackass), what a flashback!. Now I need to go watch it again. :)
Apart from the insight into Colin's life, what a fascinating walk thru the early days of TH-cam this is.
A true punk hero!!! The most authentic TH-camr ever!!! And a humble fun man.
Had to laugh when you described the Alexa flame thrower and my own Alexa answered 😂
Thanks for doing this interview/podcast with Colin! I'm a big fan of his and it was great to hear him talking about how he got to where he is now. I started following him during lockdown, and he's been great entertainment ever since!
I shall be looking out for more videos from you Ben, great channel mate. I shall go hit them Like and Subscribe buttons.
