The chain on this little Coleman mini bike kept falling off every time we rode it so it needed to be adjusted. In taking a closer look at it, there are no chain tensioning adjustments that can be made so it was either live with a loose chain that pops off all the time or remove a link. There is the other option of getting a new chain, however, a new one will stretch out as well so it seemed logical to go ahead and see if removing a link in the chain is effective. The result was successful, however, the chain was just a little tighter than I'd like. Since I was going this anyway, I figured I'd go ahead and make a video on it. Forgetting standard house maintenance items can be costly. Avoid this by using my homeowner's and renter's quick reference:

Im genuinely curious where your chain tensuoner went at the end of the video
Where is that located?
The black roller thing thing the chain sits on
Oh yes of course. It had worn out and became unserviceable so decided to leave it out.
your video helped me out thank you
Awesome! Glad to hear it.
This solved helped allot thank you! On a side note, for your bike, can’t you loosen the engine mounts and slide it forward to adjust the chain tension? Or is it already forward?
Yeah it’s already forward
this was very helpful, dont know why i didnt go to the link in the first place😂
Awesome! Thanks.
There is an adjustment on these, you actually have to move the motor forward with 4 bolts underneath the engine.
You are correct. On this one the bolts were already at max adjustment so chain shortening was necessary. Thanks for your expertise.
When we did it it’s so tight the back tire doesn’t move
Yeah there needs to be some slack for sure
