Better a low RPM than the CVT in the CR-7 with the CVT. You can't hear yourself talk at highway speed.
At least,this Chevrolet is better than the Honda HRV that I was this close to buying this year.

If you drive like you have a brain in your head as most people do not these days you have more then ample power.Why they do not put more cops on the roads and stop these brainless wonders is beside me.Makes no sense
IF you want more cops on the road, most departments are under-staffed, so fill out the paperwork to become one....most people complain but don't want to do anything about it.

I own a 2011 Equinox with 87,337 miles. I'm looking to buy a new car soon. I don't understand why they just don't give the newer Equinoxes peppier engines. It makes no sense. They have a lot of nice features but come on with the engine already.
Wow, you have not put many miles on it (unless you got it used)..... we have an 18 year old vehicle and it almost has 400k miles on it.
@@kdeh21803 Bought it brand new. Back & forth to work about 40 miles round trip. Been retired for 5 years now. Took a few road trips, but nope, not lots of driving.
I just went from a 2016 Equinox LS AWD with 66,782 miles that I've owned since new to a 2024 Equinox LT AWD with the Safety and Infotainment Package and 18" wheels. The new one is around 500lbs lighter than my 2016 Equinox. So, I don't feel a lack of power with the 1.5 turbo compared to the 2.4 engine. What I do noticed is that the 1.5 is quieter and more refined. In fact, the whole car is quieter and more refined.
@@rkt88403 Thanks. Good to know that. I understand the goal is to make cars lighter that run on gas. EV'S on the other hand are much heavier due to the batteries.

We just bought a new Chevy.....and I hate hate the Infotainment Center.....they have done away with CD's so I put all my collection on a thumbdrive only to find out it does not accept the format I had all the music in, so I changed the format and it worked ONLY to find out you could not change the selection while the vehicle is in motion so you can only change the selection while you are stopped...................... what a waste!
I was thinking about installing some sort of small single cd player. Just not sure where to place it
@@anndean4856 it’s so crazy that we have to do that again. Back in college (circa 1998) I used a portable CD player in my 1990 Geo Tracker. I had cords all over the place. Sad to say we’ve come full circle 🤦♀️
What file format “worked”?
@@rentme2011 MP3..... WMA would not work. So I had to convert all my hundreds of files....took me weeks.
Not enough width in the driver seat. leather seats are uncomfortable. 36k for a pretty stripped down version. Standard speakers are weak, barely any bass, or treble. Suspension is awful, you will feel any bump in the row. Just bought this thing and I can't wait to get rid of it.
