But other than those, definitely watch Creep. The V/H/S movies will give you both found footage and anthology movies. Dead Stream is like a new age Evil Dead. And I have a soft spot for Diary of the Dead.
Rec is a pinnacle of found footage horror movie. The people react very realistically, the panic and chaos, the distrust you have against everyone. This movie is 10/10, the BEST zombie movie and I don't think it will ever be overthrown. PS: Manu was MVP, they wouldn't last an hour without him. RIP for the bald beefcake. (The staircase screaming scene traumatized me as a teen.)
There’s a second part, the second movie, REC 2, that takes place about 2 hours after the first one. Where a group of cops and a doctor enter the building searching for a blood sample for the cure. I highly recommend it since it explains several loose ends in the first one.
You know i never knew this was a whole franchise, only this one made it on my radar, i only found out there were 4 of them when you initially said you were reacting to it and i googled it to refresh my memory because i hadnt seen it in so long lol
For people to be as selfish as they are in real life, they never portray that in zombie movies. Everyone wanna feel sorry for the old lady or the kid who is CLEARLY not human anymore and either get themselves got or someone else. Couldn't be me.

Another phrase for excuse me is perdoname which is 'pardon or forgive me' but you can also just say 'perdon' which is sorry.

Hey Jay! I like that you give foreign films with subtitles a chance! I just seen an AMAZING movie called When Evil Lurks (it’s also Spanish) and I think you would really enjoy it. It got best movie at the Dead Meat Awards. It’s on Hulu and Shudder.
Also it’s not found footage. I don’t mind found footage films BUT they aren’t necessarily my favorite either, they make me a little nauseated and give me a headache 😅 🤕

Quarantine was nearly a shot for shot remake of REC in English. REC being scarier to most.

I like all of the REC movies. I think theres 4 of them, the sequels aren't as good (2 comes pretty close though imo)
