Just curious- what do you base your comparison on? You do not show any data to support your opinions. Also there are other well known brands you do not mention.
Do you have to 'squeeze the extra oil out' before installing the pre-oiled sponge only product?
You don't want it saturated to the point that it's dripping oil in your air box but do not ring it out. You don't want to stretch it out of shape. You're better off adding oil a little bit at a time and gently squeezing it to spread it out evenly.
