😱 Sadly, a whopping 40% admit to cleaning the interiors of their cars only once a year. 🧼 What about you? 🚗💨 Leave your car cleaning routine down below! 👇
It looks like a good product! I'm always looking for good auto cleaners. How would you describe the scent of it? I prefer things that are fresh scented, but more mild.
Ryan! Thanks for watching. Great to hear from you. Honestly, I've never tried a better cleaner that I KNOW is safe in every way. The product is unscented. There was a slight but pleasant cleaning odor at first, but it dried with no smell whatsoever. I think that's a good stance when not everyone likes the same smell. Let me know if you try it out! I'd imagine this is good for motorcycles, bikes, and any other outdoor gear and vehicles that are constantly in the sun.
@@evumies Perfect, unscented is a fine option! That allows for using the cleaning product, and then you can add whatever scent as a final touch if you like. I'll definitely order some at some point using the code! I'm happy to see the channel is growing nicely too!
There's some incorrect things mentioned here. Almost all mass-factory leather contains a flexible clear coat over the leather top. It comes in matte/semi-gloss/gloss variations and is impermeable. Conditioning leather products do nothing more than sit on the top layer. The only way to get through that layer is by removing it with acetone and scrubbing pads and must be reapplied immediately. There may be some very small benefit in coating that clear layer with a conditioning product but it's really just floating on the top clear coat and maybe providing some UV protection if it's mixed in. Hey Liam! Wow, that's great information. Thanks so much for sharing. I'll definitely keep that in mind. As I mentioned in the video, leather car seats are so heavily coated. I have experienced that the UV does protect and the conditioner does provide some hydration, even to the coating on the leather, making it more flexible rather than staying dry. Also has helped me prevent cracking. Would you agree? Most flexible materials have some sort of moisture or oils in order to be flexible i.e., rubber, vinyl, plastic, etc. If we can restore any moisture by hydrating with a conditioner, it would prolong the life of the material, no? Thanks so much for watching and informing us with your expertise!
@@evumies Hi! I'm not sure but it would be an interesting long term test to take 2 seats over 5-10 years and do a coated / uncoated test. Maybe an idea for a video? I'm sure there would be some benefit but eventually all leather dries out and needs replaced one day.
@@liamvg That would definitely be a great test! I'll definitely keep it in mind. Yeah, unfortunately all leather needs to be replaced eventually, but we can all agree that it lasts longer when properly cared for. Thanks so much for your valuable input. I look forward to hearing from you in the future!
