- After visiting over 60 different safari camps, @isharakenya is still our favorite place to visit in Kenya and maybe even in the WHOLE WORLD! (I know, this is a big statement!)
On top of being an amazing safari camp, with 5 star bush dining experiences and the best hospitality staff you can find, they are also located in the famous Masai Mara National Reserve known to be one of the best location for safari in the world. From Lions to cheetahs, elephants and even leopards, you can see it all as long as you are patient.
Now let's talk accommodation. Ishara always had top tier safari tents but they just went from a hundred to a thousand with their new luxury safari villa. Composed of two river suite tents one each side and a main tent with dining room and living room in the middle, you really don't have to go anywhere else if you don't want to. Especially since the villa also has an outdoor dining area, a fireplace and even a plunge pool. From sleeping, to swimming, relaxing and dinning, you can literally do it all at your own private safari villa.
There are so many things to do at Ishara that we highly suggest 3 nights at the minimum to not only take in the safaris but also to have time to relax and enjoy the camp itself.

I came to know this camp through you guys. I’ve watched all your Ishara videos because I’m always mesmerised with the beauty of this place. Nice to see you back in Kenya. You normally put up the rates for the lodges you stay in. How come you don’t do that now. It was always a great help to us. 😊
I was curious about this too, so I went to Ishara's website, and there's a link for rates. If I read it correctly, off season, so January to April, it's $1300 to $1600 per person per night depending on the suite, or $4300 per night for the family suite. Anytime you go during the migration season, July to November ish, the rates pretty much double, and honestly it's a million wildebeest, and camps are BUSY!!! So if you can go during the off season, it's so much better, and slower, and you save a TON of money!!!! If you are a Kenyan resident, the rates are almost half, I listed the non- resident prices above in USD
They have many rates for different seasons and types of tents. I did put their website down in the description and prices are there. Hope that helps! 👍🏼

Hi. I just found your channel, do you two live in Africa? I was wondering what you advise for first time doing a Safari the best time of year to go for weather and to see all the animals and do Hot Air balloon? Also what is the best travel from United States?
We do live in Kenya yes. If it is your first time, to be honest you're gonna have a good time year around. Going in low season will also make you save a lot of money! If you want to do hot air balloon, I suggest doing it in the Masai Mara/ With that being said, it is quite expensive. If you see anything under $400USD a person, its a deal!

There are too many variables. Time of the year, full board, half board, game package, resident status, type of accommodation, etc. This is why we out their website in the description. All their prices are advertised there. 👍🏼
