Remember that a flame needs oxygen to burn properly.
If you pull your copper tube out a little from the red burner you will draw in oxygen with the methane and obtain a blue flame.
A blue flame is much hotter than a yellow one and will not make your pot turn black!

Biogas plants have been around for many years, in Tanzania cattle herders were encouraged to keep their cows in a corral at night so that the manure could be saved, and many hundreds of low-cost biogas plants were built, providing lighting and heating in remote areas thereby reducing the demand for charcoal.

I heard a story of some nuns in the pacific islands back in the 40's and 50's that did basically the same thing but on a bigger scale. They merely dug a pit and had the islanders put all the pig and chicken manure in it. Then they watered it and placed a cover over it with a pipe leading to a burner. They'd dig some manure out now and again and put it in the garden as fertiliser and put fresh manure in. They had the plumbing arranged for baths and all the hot water they wanted for washing their clothes etc. Great idea eh!

It is a great idea 💡. This also explains why the country side where cattle are kept often contributes to methane emissions adding to global warming effects. The solution is to harvest the cow dung 💩 and use for cheap fuel as energy source to power the villages and surrounding, hence the gift of biofuel benefits which is being made use in South Asia countries.

Nice "barrel" video again. :) The advantage of the barrel is that you can hide a gas bomb in the barrel between the cuts. Those who make videos with magic batteries in a barrel also hide a car battery in the barrel between cuts. :) If you want to achieve a constant methane pressure, you must either use bags that can be compressed or inflated (if they are to expel gas from the outside enclosure), or use a "heavy lid" gravity system with a water seal. Dung methane contains 52 percent methane and 48 percent carbon dioxide, which gives the flame a blue color. Your flame is orange, which indicates more of insufficient gas natural gas (this is done by the gas bomb before replacement). I also don't want to believe that you would handle a burner so close to a barrel that is certainly not hermetic and contains a dangerous gas. :) Something is just wrong, but it is possible to ignite the burner from the barrel for a while.

👍 Thankyou for your demonstration on how to produce a flame using cow dung & water (taking only 21-days). I personally prefer burning dried cow dung to boil my eggs (because it is easier), but methane is an environmentally responsible alternative. 💥 Please read all the interesting facts below (if you want to know more about methane (from cow dung)):
👉 INTERESTING FACTS: Using Methane Gas from cow manure is a "cleaner alternative" to gasoline powered cars & natural gas to heat homes. Reference: Turning cow manure into energy - Stanford. 👉 Methane provides a great environmental benefit, producing more heat and light energy by mass than other hydrocarbon, or fossil fuel, including coal and gasoline refined from oil, while producing significantly less carbon dioxide and other pollutants that contribute to smog and unhealthy air. 👉 More than 2 billion people across the planet burn dried animal dung for energy. Particularly for low-income households, dung is a widely used fuel source, as it is freely available and accessible without payment. In areas where wood fuel is scarce, dung is also a commonly used fuel source. 👉 Converting cow manure into renewable energy prevents harmful methane from reaching the atmosphere. ... The good news is that methane from dairy manure can be captured and converted into energy using existing technologies. The resulting biogas can be used to create: Renewable electricity.

Fresh cow dung is mixed with water and kept in anaerobic chamber. Wait for 21 days for the gas plant to become operational.
The dry cow dung can be used directly as fuel for slow cooking. Use it in you barbecue.
