Very cool, Steve, your GasGas cred. And with all these new players in the game, hopefully, it won't be long before we see e-bike motocross of some sort and why not, Yamaha took BMX to another level in '74 with its Yamaha Gold Cup in a stadium in Los Angeles.
Seems to me the profit margin on Ebikes must be massive. They use similar technology as off road motorbikes, with a fraction of the number of components, often with a larger price tag. Also seems to me that you can barely get a cigarette paper between current designs, so I don't think they are selling them to innovate new ideas.
The GasGas Trail and Enduro cross eMTBs both look great! It's interesting that Pierer Mobility AG has decided to offer eMTB brands (KTM, Husky, GasGas) with the 3 different motor manufactures. I heard they are bring the GasGas to the USA, so the pricing will be interesting as it will be competing with the Huskies they just started selling in the USA.
