I just ordered a gasgas Enduro and to be honest I never heard of the ebike brand until about a week ago. This bike is an incredible value. Several thousand less than the competitors. It's actually made by German manufacturer Ramon. 2 year warranty. I only wished I heard about this brand sooner. Reviews are incredible. They really have to advertise much more.
Against probably popular opinion I think its great to see Gas Gas and Husqvarna in the ebike scene, people love to talk about it being a pile of parts thrown together, but make no mistake Pierer Mobility(KTM/Husky/Gas Gas Parent company)is just doing it in a calculated way, why wouldnt they start by building the brand fast with off the shelf components while they can? its the cheaper way to do it. If the general public shows support by buying bikes and the teams show support by winning, you can bet they will eventually have WP suspension(Not made by DVO) and most likely a gearbox motor developed in house vs a SRAM setup. It only makes sense, they already know how to manufactuer or source manufacturer all this stuff. Of course your typical MTBer is not going to take kindly to a moto brand entering the market but as a moto rider myself, Husqvarna is what got me into ebike and I am sure for other people too, the visa versa also helps sell moto bikes for them. I hope Pierer AG continues the investment as I would love to keep upgrading my Husqvarna Hard Cross!
I'm right there with ya. I'm saving up right now for either a Gasgas or a Husky. I came to mountain biking from motorcycles, and I'm very excited for motorcycle brands to play in this space.
Great story telling and I love the passion of the people involved. And I have no problem seeing the likes of Gas Gas entering the fray, the more competitors the better.
Do this factory bikes have speed limiters just like the ones I get from the store? I’ve demo’d the trail 3.0 the ECC five and ECC six and they all top out at about 22 mph.
Haha, my Raymon Fullray 150e is basically a rebranded GasGas. Although I don't think it looks ugly and what's wrong with aluminium. When I take the battery out (630wh and weighs 3.5kgs) it's not that heavy 23kgs, easily fits into the back of my Cio with the seats folded down and cost me under £3k new. Great Yamaha motor too.
For those who aren’t aware gasgas was bought out by ktm a year or so ago. Ktm, who makes expensive top notch motorcycles. Usually takes a measured approach over time and builds some killer machines. Ktm either build or buy manufacturing and then reuse a lot of parts across their owned brands. If it goes like the motorcycle market, they’ll build and buy their way to the top of the market. Good machines, but I hate that most of their offerings vary very little with the exception of price! That said. What’s with every bike manufacturer having 15million fancy rear linkage setups? Is there not an optimal linkage setup that can be shared across the lineup?
Its just marketing like in motogp, gasgas don't make anything and the buying public ain't stupid to fall for the retoric that comes along with a the marketing spin...
The gas gas bike engineered by some other company, made by some other company, with a motor from some other company… so no gas gas involvement at all apart from the name on the side which in the world of MTB stands for… fuck all!
So get a pile of off the shelf parts, make up a carbon frame with same design parameters as other Emtb manufacturers. Employ riders with no regard for their own safety and let them ride at max capability down some courses to get to spray champers at a tiny crowd. When it comes to buying a bike how many care that this enterprise even existed.
I wonder if Gas Gas had invested their marketing budget into R and D would they have made a less shit bike??? It’s so tiring to see this never ending commercial from EMBN for gas gas, a brand that has about as much chance of taking over the EMBt market as KFC does the vegan health lunch market.
auto shift? change without moving? some of the things that the visceral and tactile fun of riding emtbs needs to keep, not destroy with pointless automation
What do you think of the GasGas ECC? Would you like to see more moto companies entering bike racing?
Is GasGas a good bike?

Looks great. Not replacing my tazer mx pro with one but still glad to see gas gas and other companies in the space
I think the most interesting prospect for the Gas Gas/Husqvarna/KTM bikes is if they develop WP suspension.
Now that would be really special!
love the ECC want one for sure
Very cool bikes for sure

WP is owned by KTM which also own gasgas, so in-house.
Great product. Wild it’s soo hard to get one in the USA.
A Gas Gas could be my next EMTB, however I've not long just bought another bike.
You know how N+1 goes!
Fine job of waxing all poetic like!
I'm so confused. Wasn't the suspension DVO?
It is actually confusing 😅
What are the best ‘cheap e-bikes, for those of us skint!
Génial
The human power is great!
Not gonna lie, it looks like the pedal titan 2 in its design.

Why not more ebike races?
It's still fairly young! Give it time :)
Nobody else can tell it like jonesy
Glad you enjoyed it!
Old frame from Raymon

My Husqvarna works well

Isn't that what most companies do?
@@pauliepunk_1 yep
All companies do the same
Okay Mr Grump

Armor technology… do You people ever hear yourself and the kind of BS that comes out your mouths on this channel???
Where the heck did they come up with a nonsense brand name like gasgas. weird weird.
Gasgas... what a dumb name lol
Means all in. Kinda cool
auto shift? change without moving? some of the things that the visceral and tactile fun of riding emtbs needs to keep, not destroy with pointless automation
If people buy an E-bike there not to keen on doing stuff there selves so automatic shifting fits like a glove on these bikes I guess. 😂
Overpriced carbon crap.... To much unnecessary tec. 😂😂😂😂
