I use this song to keep myself humble. It is a humbling song, knowing what it is about. Every Friday night, small drink in hand, reflect on the week and life's goings on and listen to this song. A big Thank You to The Tragically Hip for keeping me humble all of these years.

I'm with Scott Wood on this one. Please, don't ever take this one down. Escape is one of my favourite Hip songs, and it will always be bittersweet (reminds me of the scene from Long Time Running where they're practicing Escape for the final tour). I can't help crying sometimes when I listen to this one.
